Disappointed. As loyal customers, we expected better from The Hosteller. We booked a stay at @thehosteller Kasol (Booking ID: 1912063995) for 28/06/2025 with excitement, But had to cancel within a few hours due to an unpredictable health emergency. Despite the same-day cancellation(26/06/2025), multiple follow-ups with both @agodaindia and @thehosteller team, and even Agoda’s attempts to reach them, no resolution has been offered. No empathy. No communication. Just silence, except for a rejection email from Agoda and one incomplete response from @thehosteller team member. This isn’t just about policy. It’s about the ethics of hospitality and recognizing that sometimes, life happens. We didn’t expect a full refund, but we did expect a solution. Perhaps reinstating the booking or fresh rebooking followed by refund for the previous booking. For a brand like @thehosteller that promotes travel and community, it’s heartbreaking to see hard-earned money go to waste without a single human gesture. We hope The Hosteller reconsiders how they handle genuine situations like ours.
