THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME
When Hannah’s husband mysteriously vanishes, her seemingly normal life is turned upside down.
Desperate for answers, she joins forces with her 16-year-old stepdaughter, Bailey, despite their complicated relationship.
As they follow clues and uncover unsettling secrets, the two begin forming an unexpected bond while discovering that the man they both love may not be who they thought he was.
How well can you really know someone you’ve shared your life with?
A gripping mystery thriller filled with family secrets, emotional twists, and suspense.
Starring: Jennifer Garner, Angourie Rice, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

Thanks for the baton, mette.
I recommend three books: Klara and the Sun by Ishiguro, The Plot Against America by Philip Roth, and finally The Woman from California by O.C. Madsen.
📖 The Plot Against America by Philip Roth — an alternative-history novel imagining a very different political future for the United States in the 1940s.
📖 Kvinden fra Californien (The Woman from California) by O.C. Madsen.
The post also features a reader holding Dræb ikke en sangfugl, the Danish edition of Harper Lee’s classic novel To Kill a Mockingbird, which explores racism, prejudice, and justice in the American South.
