Optimal Grokbot usecase I need to harness
I know I’m a bit late to the party, but I’m seriously impressed with what Grok Bot has accomplished in its first ~24 hours. Here’s the summary it pulled together: 💸 Got about $1,000 back from an airline: a refund on a seat upgrade plus reimbursement for a flight disruption 📦 Disputing a bogus customs fee from a shipper, and talked me out of a "fix" that would've cost more than the fee 📭 Unsubscribed me from 66 junk email lists, plus 19 kinds of LinkedIn spam ✈️ Planned logistics and made a lunch reservation for an upcoming NYC trip 🛒 Read a month of my grocery orders and learned what our family of 9 actually buys 🧾 Dug up a forgotten tax payment and checked where I stand before year-end 🏈 Took over my fantasy team: waiver claims and a weekly lineup schedule And it handled the logins and verification codes along the way. @grok

Grok Bot is running Try Omarchy inside its own computer. So you can develop plugins and applications with it. Pretty sweet!
I now have a @Bot with its own Omarchy machine. That’s fricken cool 😅 Here it is switching themes, tiling windows and opening my markets widget. Fairly ordinary desktop stuff, until you remember who’s driving. It means I can start delegating visual QA for my plugins. Have it open panels, try different themes, check layouts and show me what actually happens on screen. Still some tweaks needed for cloud setups like this (help a fella out @poteto) but having another pair of eyes and a separate machine to test on is a pretty exciting step. I gave my bot a Linux desktop. Naturally, I’m putting it to work.

I just gave my a Grokbot four years of past tax returns and financial files. Just a dump of folders and unlabled files. K-1s, 1099s, mortgage statements, HSA records, and every email with our CPA. 266 files. I just said, please double check my CPA's work. A few minutes later, it had found a lot of mistakes. Mortgage interest left off our 2022 return entirely. HSA payroll contributions counted twice, four years in a row, which created a penalty tax that never should have existed. A missing IRA form for Jen that would have cost us. On this year's return: home office errors, two K-1s missing, an outdated 1099, and startup losses we never claimed. And a retirement contribution the return already deducted...that we hadn't actually deposited. I sent it all to our CPA. They sent back an amended return. The bot reviewed that too. One fix went the wrong direction. The explanation had typos. Three versions later, all in one afternoon, it said ready to sign. Just a few hours start to finish. With about 90 seconds of my time and attention required. I was just the meat proxy hitting send as Grokbot watched the replies in my email. Our CPA is great and turned every fix around the same day. We chatted afterwards. He wanted to know what I was using - just normal ole' grokbot. I asked him what he was using? No AI tools. I set him up with @magnetictax for next season (we're an investor). All CPAs should be using Magnetic Tax or something like it. Every single one. All individuals should be double checking the work and past work with Grokbot or something like that. Want to copy the exact the prompt I used? it was just this: "Please do a thorough review of my taxes and help me understand if my CPA made any mistakes" "Think deeply" Or just tag your bot into this thread.

Not really, it's more like generalized software is dead. Software is just more niched.
Software is dead It's now the era of personal software and everyone just builds what they need whenever they need it I think

BOOM! A @Grok @Bot first! Tomorrow I set up what I believe is the first Grok Bot operated Flexographic Carton Box Printing Machine (similar to this one) for a long term client in Southern California! We have had a few test runs and had 100% success! This will allow on demand shorter runs with the ability to optimize for multiple client needs at once with very little waste. The use of Grok Bot in industrial applications is a tip of the iceberg and I have dozens of companies in the pipeline. We will also test visual telemetry via video cameras operated by Grok Bot. In this client I will install a few local AI models that will monitor all aspects and report to Grok Bot for coordination and optimization. A bonus: Grok Bot is doing a full customer service and marketing test for the company next week after a limited test these past weeks. This not only allows existing employees to do other things, we project up to 30% more utilization, with 60% more products per customer! More soon!

Makes sense. There will be some labor outside of the training data, but that labor has to be some fork, human attachments or the few remaining constraints (wattage, energy, compute).
"Labor and capital are about to divorce because capital doesn't does need your labor, it'll just hire GPUs. So you need to own the means of production." - Emad Mostaque, founder of Stability AI: "In 2 years' time, if your job is on the other side of a screen, you will be the dumbest person on the team that drags down everyone else because all your colleagues will be AIs. And so the value of your cognitive labor is negative. They would pay you not to be a part of the team. As of this week, we are no longer the smartest things on this planet. Atomic Machines CEO @jeffholden reveals his vision for a future where humanity could travel to another planet and build an entire civilization using just one machine: "Our mission is on-demand universal command of matter. Given a digital input, you can construct any stable configuration of atoms that quantum mechanics allows." "That's when we've cracked the code completely. That's when you can fly to another planet, and you can build civilization with one machine." "We have a very ambitious mission. The only thing more ambitious is Constructor Theory by David Deutsch."

Every comment goes to my feedback kanban I can drag feedback into "Todo" to start a new Cursor cloud agent Self-improving software!

oh my god this is worse than we thought here's @Ledger $86M exploits explained > cryptobilis was a reputable and authorized Ledger/Trezor/OneKey dealer for over 4 years > they decided to sell the company to a Chinese guy (most likely patsy for DPRK) from northern China in MARCH 2026 > the "Chinese guy" modded the devices within the supply chain itself (physical), namely Nano X devices, to contain an implant module > ledger validity/genuineness check CANNOT detect this because hw wasn't actually tampered with, just spied on > quoting @MagicalTux: " implant just monitors what's shown on the screen, will take note of the seed as it's shown to you, then transmits it to 3rd party" > former owner chimes in on X (pic below) to say that "they were under a NDA" to not mention anything to anyone for 6 months > they obviously didn't alert any of their partners that they were authorized to sell devices of... because NDA, duh!! its in the name! > conveniently, funds start getting siphoned a few weeks before this magical NDA due date, and being laundered across all blockchains

The biggest gains from Starlink going from 1 million users to 12 million in 3.5 years went to villages, islands, farms, ships, and disaster zones that towers don’t reach. Ukraine kept links up under bombardment. Clinics, schools, and crews stayed online with a dish and a clear sky. India is that story at scale where hundreds of millions still sit beyond reliable broadband. Starlink already holds a licence, has built 20 gateway sites, and keeps Indian user data in the country. A connection that does not wait on a trench belongs there. It’s a no brainer if general welfare is the consideration.

they're aspirationally betting on their own space industry to launch their own Starlink esque satellites while doing nothing to provide anything to rural. BYD, Huawei, NIO, Geely are not on US soil but Volkswagen, Renault and Rimac are.
Starlink is licensed in over 165 countries and has spent five years complying with every single law and requirement of the government of India, so why still no license? Is Ambani the real boss of India?

People worried about their crypto when the whole world’s financial and governmental systems run on SSL. If SSL falls we have bigger problems than your wallet .
Today I call upon the blockchain industry to calmly begin planning for "bunker mode". My personal recommendation is to set in motion a controlled mass migration of assets to fresh addresses, i.e. addresses whose pubkeys remain hidden behind a hash. Holders, starting with large and sophisticated ones, should consider moving the bulk of their funds to addresses that have never signed a transaction. And when they do sign one, they should also move remaining funds to a new address (possibly generated from the same seed phrase). Don't rush. While I believe there is cause for action a rushed migration would do more harm than good. Don't panic either. Moving assets to protected addresses is a simple, preventative step which does not require new cryptography or new wallets. IMO it is now reasonable to brace for the possibility that ECDSA breaks before qday, in the worst case in months not years. By "break" I mean fast private key recovery (e.g. in one week) on available hardware (e.g. a large GPU cluster). Recent days have been humbling for human mathematical intuition. Long-held, unquestioned hypotheses have fallen. This includes the n log(n) bound for integer multiplication and the 3SUM conjecture. In hindsight, May's unexpected disproof of the Erdős unit distance conjecture was our warning shot. Yesterday's OpenAI drop made it clear that mathematical superintelligence is upon us. They say there are weeks where decades happen. We are about to live through weeks where centuries of mathematical progress happen. Could our magic 64-byte ECDSA signatures be too good to be true? Was it just security through obscurity all this time? Elliptic curves feel especially vulnerable to superintelligence. Curves carry rich structure, with room for fancy tricks like Schoof, Frobenius, pairings. (By contrast, hashes are designed to minimise algebraic structure.) Separately, as Ewin Tang can attest, an efficient quantum algorithm sometimes foreshadows an efficient classical one. We should be open to the possibility of a classical counterpart to Shor that breaks elliptic curves and RSA at once. Also noteworthy is the striking under-representation of cryptographic breakthroughs among the 722 mathematical results OpenAI published. I've witnessed first-hand the US government censoring academic quantum cryptanalysis results. Backroom interventionism is my base case. I urge large, sophisticated actors to lead by example. Project11's "risq list" (bitcoin-risq-list.projecteleven[.]com) is a great tracker of exposed BTC pubkeys. Binance, Bitbank, Robinhood, Bitfinex, and Tether have an opportunity to harden their cold storage. Next month I'll address institutions in London in a live Q&A (forum.ethereuminstitutional[.]org/london-2026). Again, please do not rush. Wallets holding under 50 BTC enjoy partial cover from "Satoshi's shield", i.e. his 20K exposed addresses that hold 50 BTC each. Load-bearing signers like oracles and L2 security councils should consider rotating ECDSA pubkeys with every signed message and/or multi-signing with a hash-based schemes like SPHINCS. Exiting bunker mode safely will require post-AI cryptography. My inclination is to go all-in on hash-based cryptography and avoid structured mathematical assumptions entirely, whether from curves, lattices, or isogenies. A single battle-tested hash (e.g. from the SHA or BLAKE families) yields plausible post-AI security. The Ethereum roadmap on strawmap[.]org fully embraces hash-based cryptography with end-to-end formal verification as a response to the quantum threat. Those timelines must now be revisited and accelerated in light of mathematical superintelligence. I'll be pushing for maximum defensive acceleration.
