The Victoria Wood Foundation came into being on 20 April 2016 on the death of its founder, Victoria Wood. Since then, we have given just short of £1.5 million in grants to many arts organisations.

Funding has already been stopped in some areas with the highest suicide rates, and by 2024 the rest of it will stop completely. This is an unacceptable decision from the Government when suicide rates are as high now as they were 20 years ago. 2/4
