Loving the latest computerised public address announcement at @StPancrasInt #railway station:
“Please be aware that banshees operate in this area.”
Have you seen one yet?
bad news today - @NespressoUK is closing its boutique store at @StPancrasInt . I always dropped off #recycling in the morning and bought new pods in the evening - and there were always customers waiting. Very much a retrograde step and poor #customerservice
A great poll that will have absolutely no influence on the overall result! But vote for your favourite - there are three on this poll and the other three on the second one as apparently twitter can't handle a six-option poll in one go...
I have to be impartial, so I cannot say who I voted for.... (but it is north of Watford!)

My first trip in new role…off to Wakefield for inductions and to learn more about the role and business. An @EastMidRailway Cl.158 is my chariot and @AMTCoffee is my friend!
Not good news for the ScotRail or any other rail service. Were all 150 triple-vaccinated? It won't be long before it should be compulsory for all key workers (with the usual medical-reasons exemptions)...

Good the see the @TheGoAheadGroup start its new service in Germany between Munich and Lindau today, showing UK operators can work in Europe just as well as European operators can work in the UK!

Well said Alex! I had my 3 - 2 Astra Zeneca and 1 Pfizer - quickly done and no after effects. What are people scared of??
Thank you to the lovely people at @NHSTayside for my covid vaccination booster! Getting vaccinated is still the single most important thing we can do to protect each other.
Now we are all back in masks it's difficult to sort out who's who. Does facial recognition work on eyebrows?
It's a shame when people tweet links to interesting articles and then hide them behind a paywall so we can't read them...

A chilling reminder of how easy it is to get killed on the #railway. The bicycle wheel is actually on the running rail just before the train arrives.
"What's the problem, surely the train driver will stop if they see someone??"
Er ...
A train travelling at 125mph takes 20 football pitches to stop. 🤦♂️ 🤦♀️
These people are beyond lucky to be alive!

Good to see that @transportgovuk has published its list of rail enhancements for #CP6 that @railindustry has been pushing for. The @RailSupplyGrp and supply chain will be pleased. More at @therailengineer railengineer.co.uk/2019/10/1…
The report makes interesting reading and it is only the Interim version.
A tragedy - let's learn from this and not have any more....
Network Rail has released an interim report into the fatalities that occurred at Margam, near Port Talbot in South Wales, on 3 July 2019.
It looks into what happened on the day and why and how the accident occurred. railengineer.co.uk/2019/09/3…
