AMD is starting to look like a very different business.
and its latest earnings make that hard to miss.
the company brought in $13.4B in Q3 revenue, beating expectations. but what really caught my attention wasnโt the headline number.
it was where the money came from.
AMDโs Data Center business generated $8.5B in revenue, up 97% from the same period last year.
thatโs roughly 63% of the companyโs entire quarterly revenue coming from one segment.
now look at the other side.
Client and Gaming revenue fell 8% year over year.
that contrast says a lot about where AMDโs growth is coming from right now.
the AI infrastructure boom isnโt just giving AMD another product category to compete in. itโs becoming a major force behind the companyโs overall growth.
and AMD is preparing for even more demand.
Q4 revenue guidance sits at approximately $17B, representing around 66% year-over-year growth at the midpoint.
of course, guidance is not a guarantee. AMD still has to deliver on production, supply and execution.
but one thing is becoming difficult to overlook:
AI is changing what drives AMDโs business, and the numbers are starting to show it.

Circle just delivered an earnings beat.
$865M in revenue and reserve income against roughly $790M expected. EPS came in at $0.84, more than double the $0.40 estimate.
On the surface, thatโs a pretty impressive quarter.
But i wouldnโt stop at the headline.
Thereโs another number worth looking at: $182M came from the ARC token presale.
And that changes how i would read the results.
Because while Circle is finding new ways to grow its revenue, its core reserve income is telling a different story.
Reserve income fell 8% year over year, partly as the reserve return rate dropped to 3.5%.
So thereโs an interesting contrast here.
Circle is expanding beyond the business that made USDC successful, but the economics of that original business are still feeling the pressure of lower returns.
Thatโs the part of this earnings report i find interesting.
A company can beat expectations and still have a more complicated story underneath the numbers.
and with Circle, i think itโs worth looking beyond the revenue beat.

One thing I find interesting about the growth of AI agents is how they are moving beyond simply assisting people with tasks. They are gradually becoming participants in online commerce.
But for that to work, agents need a reliable way to pay for the products and services they choose.
I came across this demonstration from @GOATNetwork showing how GOAT Flow works from the merchant's side, and it gives a clearer picture of how this could happen in practice.
A merchant can connect their store, configure payment options, link a wallet for crypto payments, and integrate Stripe for card payments.
They can then use hosted checkout or QuickPay to make their products accessible to both human customers and AI agents.
What caught my attention is bringing these payment methods into one checkout experience.
Instead of building a completely separate payment system for AI agents, GOAT Flow is working toward making existing commerce infrastructure accessible to them.
The bigger picture is that as AI agents become more capable at purchasing products on behalf of users, infrastructure will need to evolve alongside them.
This is an interesting direction for agentic commerce, and the practical demonstration makes the concept easier to understand.

Building smarter robots is one thing. Giving them accurate, up-to-date information about the real world is another.
Thatโs where @vangrid_io gets interesting.
Online images and traditional maps can show what a location looks like, but they often miss real-time changes like roadblocks, altered pedestrian crossings, or new routes.
Vangrid is tackling this by turning smartphones into tools for capturing real-world 3D data. Locations get requested, contributors record the environment, and the collected data is verified on-chain.
The project launched its web and Android products in July, followed by a $9M seed round in August backed by HashKey Capital and Animoca Brands.
What I find interesting is how theyโre connecting everyday smartphone users to the growing needs of Physical AI.
The next breakthrough in robotics might start with someone simply recording their surroundings.

I've been seeing a lot of conversations about MEXC and the recent FinCEN announcement, and I think it's important to understand what actually happened before jumping to conclusions.
First, this is a serious regulatory development. FinCEN has issued an order targeting fund transfers involving MEXC Global through covered financial institutions.
But here's an important distinction: this is not an order freezing every MEXC user's account or shutting down the entire platform.
The order is scheduled to take effect 30 days after its publication in the Federal Register. So the timing and actual scope of the action matter.
I've also seen people speculating about withdrawals and other exchanges. I wouldn't treat those claims as facts without reliable evidence.
MEXC's update says operations remain normal, user assets are safe, and an independent AML and sanctions review is underway.
Personally, I hope the team handles this properly and provides clear updates as things develop.
