I'm so glad to have used @laravel cloud. Their handling of these CVEs was top notch and I barely had to think about it. Hopefully it all goes well for people hosted elsewhere.

Astra updating my readme files to add instructions without me ever asking is really getting old

Laravel Boost using both .ai/skills and .agents/skills folder is confusing.

And now when overriding a skill, you end up with a duplicate of the skills because Boost copies it from .ai/skills to .agents/skills

What's up with all the cn-suffixed project names these days

It bugs me that GitHub's avatar URLs end in .png but redirect to jpeg files

Just contributed 200$ to Iconify. If you can, please help @cyberalien_dev cover the cost of hosting this awesome project ❤️
Iconify is constantly growing, domain has passed a big milestone: 10 billion requests in last 30 days! That is almost double of what it was just a year ago. While project is free, servers aren't. If you are using Iconify, please consider supporting it: iconify.design/sponsors/

Anyone is looking for a DESIGNER? I know my Laravel community friend @HassanZahirnia is looking for a job now, so this is an opportunity for you. He's a genius behind the designs of Filament, NativePHP, and other well-known websites. Check his website: zahirnia.com/

Configuring your code editor using AI is so underrated. What took me a couple of minutes would've taken me hours before to get a perfect setup

Not being able to hide the title bar in @zeddotdev is pretty frustrating. I don’t even need the traffic light buttons. I’d happily get rid of them. In @code, extensions that tweak the CSS give you much more freedom to shape the interface.

Unfortunately, Zed doesn’t expose anything comparable, and the team isn’t currently accepting PRs to add support for hiding the title bar. I really wish they’d reconsider.

I’d love to see Zed expose more of its UI for customization in general. When you spend hours in an editor every day, being able to shape the interface around how you work is a big part of what makes it feel truly yours.

I like keeping page-specific components next to the page that owns them. I wrote about a small @laravel and @inertiajs feature that makes this structure work, with a little backstory from the pull request: hedger.ch/posts/2026/inertia…

Man, I wish I could install Playwright on @laravel Cloud without opting into Private Cloud. Looks like I’ll still need to build an HTML-to-PDF service on Fly for my app to call. Hopefully, add-on support makes its way to the standard plans eventually.

I moved my @astrodotbuild blog from Fly.io to @laravel Cloud to keep more of my deployments in one place. Astro isn't officially supported, but its standalone Node server works with one important tweak: bind it to :: hedger.ch/posts/2026/astro-l…
