Over the weekend, a LIVES paramedic supported a @EMASNHSTrust crew with a complex end-of-life patient. They administered medication to ease symptoms, and arranged follow up care from community nursing teams, which allowed the patient to stay at home comfortably 💛 #LIVES

Prehospital providers often conduct glucose testing on patients, but only those at risk of hypoglycemia should be tested, as true hypoglycemia is rare in non-diabetic patients.
