I’ll admit it. @NoLayingUp has lost my interest little by little over the years. They act like they deserve or have earned this righteous place in golf media, when they were at their best when they were a small shop. Tourist Sauce fuelled my love of architecture. It’s too bad.
I’ve been made aware that members of No Laying Up said on a recent podcast that I have been reporting bad news from LIV Golf because I was “waiting for some payments to come in.” They have also regularly insinuated for 4 years that I have been paid for covering the league and I have now “flipped”.
This is completely false.
While I shouldn’t have to defend myself against these accusations. Due to the size of their platform I felt I had to address it.
I do not make any money from Flushing It Golf outside of the minor ad revenue share from social media platforms and I never have. There’s been plenty of opportunities to sell out for financial incentives, but I’ve rejected every single offer.
I’ve never shared this publicly, but my motivation to start this account came after Covid as an outlet to get away from serious issues I had in my personal life that I was struggling to deal with.
It began as a meme account, but has taken many different forms in its short existence to where I now try my hardest to share interesting news stories in as factual a way as possible with extensive sourcing.
I know it’s hard for some people to believe, but I am literally just a tradesman from the UK who is obsessed with golf. So I talk about it online and I really enjoy it.
Thanks to you all for following. I really appreciate it.
Tom 👍
Love this App.
we killed LIV and youtube golf in the same month. this is massive news for the #shrinksoldiers
never a doubt. order is restored
Don’t worry @mrmckee has shown his cards. We all stopped listening long ago.
Friends with many Canadian 🇨🇦 golf people, some I would consider Big-Shots in positions they have held and jobs they do.
Proud to know them all.
Can’t sit back and let this Scrub Reporter desecrate a Major Champion, neither should any of you.
That’s all.

Watching people defending Aimpoint has been the personal highlight of my week.

Ya this has nothing to do with his business partnerships with Gemini. Nothing. Says the salty teaching pro.
I LITERALLY spit my coffee across the room in laughter.
An investment idea for @livgolf_league - have all the captains pool their massive sign on bonuses from PIF into a consortium & buy the league. It would have to be around $1bn & they can back the concept they committed so strongly to. Would be akin to SSG’s investment into PGAT.
I only know you cuz of this dreadful app, but thank god for it.
