So….after nearly 14 years…my final Sunday Mail column. In some ways it feels like freedom, but if I’m honest, I’m going to miss it. To be allowed to fill space with the refuse in my head has been a rare privilege.

The first tranche of distillates to taste for the upcoming Weekend Australian Magazine Drinks Issue. Some rum, a bit of Agave based goodness, whiskies of wide origin and some locally produced vodka for those a bit wary of the Russians. And gin..lots of gin.
