Iowa State All-American Paniro Johnson recently underwent neck surgery after the injury he battled earlier this season.
Wishing Paniro a strong and complete recovery. If there’s one thing we know about him, it’s that he’s a fighter (he once wrestled 24 matches in Fargo in a single week)- and warriors find their way back.
Also speaks volumes to see Coach Brent Metcalf right there by his side. This is what great coaching looks like- investing in athletes beyond the mat and treating them like family through the hills and valleys of life.
The sport is built on people like this.

This video of federal agents killing a civilian appears to contradict the accounts by @DHSgov and @BPUnion. It appears the victim was filming and then tried to help a person that a Border Patrol agent shoved to the ground. He didn’t “approach with a gun,” or “brandish” a weapon.
