Last semester, I worked with @ElliotKChin on a project applying counterfactual regret minimization to poker and testing the results against a genuine user pool. We created our solver and game entirely from scratch. Read and play against our bot here: github.com/nrlopez03/CS136-P…

A great piece by @ElliotKChin on streakiness in the NBA!
Recently, in the wake of the Celtics' nailbiting 3-0 comeback attempt, I wrote a piece for @Harvard_Sports about what it means to be "streaky" in the NBA. I found that the Celtics were pretty streaky this season, so perhaps their ECF performance shouldn't come as a surprise.

I had a great time working on this with everyone! A deep insight into big deals in the modern NFL and the distribution of teams’ salary caps vs. performance
Do big deals really make NFL teams better? Even before Russel, the stats supporting superstar contracts rarely justify the costs.
Check out our newest article, introducing a new statistic - NFL-HHI - that measures cap concentration in NFL teams. harvardsportsanalysis.org/20…
An incredible experience working on this with @ElliotKChin! Sadly, I don’t think there’s a permutation with the @Giants on top!
