Well after today’s announcement from the Bank of England, there is something very, very, very wrong in the system.
So … let me get this straight:
* British Gas made a profit of £1.3bn between January & June
* BP announced profits of £6.95 billion between April and June alone
* Shell has profited by £9.4bn in a year
The MEN at the top:
* John Pettigrew, boss of National Grid received £6.5m bonus on top of his salary
* Chris O’Shea, chief executive of British Gas owner Centrica was paid almost £2m last year in salary and benefits
* Centrica's non-executive directors were paid almost £1m
* Scottish Power's CEO Keith Anderson is on £1.15m.
* E.On boss Michael Lewis is on £1m
* EDF's Simone Rossi is also on £1m
* And their top execs enjoyed a share of £4.65m
* Peter Simpson of Anglian Water earned a £1.3m pay package
* Welsh Water bosses awarded themselves bonuses of over £930,000
* Severn Trent bosses awarded themselves bonuses of £5.56m
* Thames Water's Sarah Bentley, received a £727,000 bonus on top of her £2m annual salary
Meanwhile there are...
* People who haven't had breakfast and/or lunch TODAY, because they can't afford it.
* People using FoodBanks because food is becoming more of a luxury than a necessity.
* Children celebrating a birthday without presents.
* Parents worrying about new school uniforms - and some schools enforcing rules which are not cost-effective.
* People who can't get to work because they can't afford to put petrol in their cars/pay for public transport anymore.
* People who are working so much they're making themselves ill, and they STILL CAN'T AFFORD to pay their bills.
* People who have been given fines by these same energy/water companies because they couldn't afford to pay their bills in the first place - increasing their debt.
* Customers being told to do STAR JUMPS TO KEEP WARM for crying out loud!
* Hose pipe bans when gallons of water leak away everyday.
* Elderly people NOT DRINKING because they're worried about running out of water!!!
All this and energy prices are set to rise up to 75% in October...
THIS IS MADNESS!.. I'm all for supporting profits … I'm not for supporting greed at the cost of lives of others.
Something needs to change.
Why is customers' money being used to make life more comfortable for those who are making life more intolerable for the rest of us?
I actually don't understand how the energy companies are allowed to get away with this and why the government aren't stopping them instead of handing out money.....

In years past we used to LOVE a yummy Marks & Spencer Christmas Pork Pie!
As the Gov't "Folic Acid" mandate becomes LAW on the 13th of December, WHY is M&S not listing it on their ingredients list, on their website?
(Especially since folic was included in most UK white flour since 2025 & is already in almost all supermarket products)
In fact I have checked several of the M&S festive pastry products, & NON of them list it?
I am no lawyer, but is it not ILLEGAL for a food product offered for sale to the public, MUST list all ingredients?
Of course I could be wrong, but this does not look good.
There is WORSE TOO, website wise.
Aldi currently are only listing the "nutrition" of their products & no ingredients, at all! (Aldi may include it in the future)
If folic acid fortification is so GOOD for health & saving babies, WHY are the big supermarkets seemingly "hiding" it's inclusion on ingredient lists?

Farage apparently thinks the question of Englishness is an “academic debate”, in his words, that is not worth engaging in - a simply extraordinary thing to say.
We are witnessing profound demographic change across Britain, and the leader of Reform thinks the meaning of English identity is a subject to be brushed aside because he’s scared of being called a few unpleasant names.
Englishness is NOT an academic debate.
The English are a historic people. We have our own ancestry, heritage, culture, traditions and national identity.
Incredibly, Farage disagrees with that.
My view, and Restore Britain's view, is clear.
We are not simply a collection of passport holders living within a geographical boundary.
And acknowledging the existence of the historic English people does not mean denying that others can develop a genuine attachment and belonging to our nation, but that does not make them ethnically English.
A government can print a passport, sadly we all know that - it CANNOT falsely manufacture centuries of history or ancestral roots.
The historic English people have a home - it’s called England, and we have nowhere else to go.
And yes, in that home, the English are being demographically replaced. That’s just a fact. It’s happening all over Britain, it’s happened all over Britain. Go to East London, Rochdale, Luton, Birmingham, Blackburn, Bradford. I could go on.
This is NOT an academic debate.
This is our home, or at least it was.
Farage is simply not the man to save it.
You cannot claim to defend a nation when you refuse to even acknowledge its historic people because you might get your feelings hurt.
The hour is simply too late for that pathetic level of gutlessness.
The English are not an academic abstract afterthought.
We will not have our history and entire existence erased because cowardly politicians don’t have the courage to state the truth.
We are a people, and England is our home.
Restore Britain will defend it.

Check this out:
“As a former RNLI Crewman Volunteer of 15 years let me educate you of Maritime Law if I may.
When these rubber boats set off from France overloaded, the French are breaking maritime law by not intercepting them and returning them to shore. When these illegal migrants boats have sailed almost 3/4 of the way to the UK and now in British waters, the RNLI and Border Force are sent out by the Coastguard on the instructions of HM Government to intercept them. They do this because if the rubber boats are allowed to land on uk soil under their own steam then everyone on board becomes an illegal immigrant and by law MUST be detained and deported asap.
However when they are picked up at sea, even if only 200 yards offshore, and in no danger whatsoever, then the RNLI and Border pick them up and they are longer called illegals - conclusion The French and The British are doing this on purpose - WHY?”

What the actual fuck is wrong with this government? Why would any sane person risk their life for a country that does this to its own SAS? Hunt ISIS, come under fire, act in self-defence, get arrested for murder, homes raided, three years of hell with almost no legal support, sent straight back into combat, then left with the case still able to be reopened. All five gone. Absolute disgrace. They’ve got no loyalty to the people who keep this country safe. 🇬🇧
🚨 NEWS: Five SAS soldiers arrested on suspicion of double murder during an operation against ISIS in Syria were sent back into combat just 48 hours after being questioned by military police.
A Sunday Times investigation reveals the soldiers were arrested following a July 2022 mission in which two people were killed. The troops maintained they acted in self-defence, and an initial military review supported their account before being overturned.
They subsequently faced a three-year murder investigation, reportedly receiving just £500 towards legal representation and having to fund their own defence.
The investigation ended in May 2025 without charges, although the soldiers were warned it could be reopened. All five have since left the Army.

Surely a serious country doesn't allow generals to make its foreign policy. Serious countries also recognise the limits of their power and wealth, and don't commit suicide in foreign adventures. .@jakewsimons .

'The BBC has been accused of breaching impartiality rules after civil servants embedded in the broadcaster were tasked with writing articles and fact-checking contentious issues, The Telegraph can reveal.
Civil Service fast-stream graduates and managers are being seconded to the BBC newsroom to produce news and analysis on “high-impact, sensitive topics” such as small boat crossings and coverage of the Covid pandemic'
This confirms what we've suspected for a long time. The BBC is not impartial, lacks integrity, fails scrutiny and is a hive of woke leftism and the destruction of British values.

🚨 ISIS EXECUTIONER RELEASED ONTO WINDSOR STREETS TO BROWSE THE CO OP ON HUMAN RIGHTS GROUNDS
I want you to read the horrifying details of this scandal and ask yourself if Great Britain has completely lost its mind. 🤡
Mohammed Yaseen is an Iraqi Islamic State terrorist who stood guard over public stonings, beheadings of children, and was linked to the Al Qaeda cell that murdered British hostage Ken Bigley.
After serving a prison sentence in Germany, he crossed the Channel on a small boat, handed border officials a fake name, and was rewarded with a taxpayer funded hotel room.
A judge at Winchester Crown Court warned on the record that this man posed an active danger to the whole United Kingdom.
Yet under Andy Burnham and Shabana Mahmood, this monster was quietly released from prison, housed in a Windsor hostel, and left free to wander into the local Co op right outside Windsor Castle.
Why was an active terrorist permitted to stroll past royal residences?
Because Whitehall bureaucrats raised concerns that deporting a convicted executioner back to Iraq might breach his human rights.
To complete the insult, British taxpayers now face paying up to 500,000 pounds in legal aid while human rights lawyers fight his deportation at the European Court of Human Rights.
Police will kick down the front doors of British citizens for typing angry opinions on social media, yet an ISIS executioner gets an ankle tag and freedom to roam English streets.
British human rights laws have turned into a literal suicide pact that protects foreign terrorists while treating the domestic public with pure contempt.
Would you fight for a Government that treats you like this AFTER your sacrifice, while they sit in their ‘bunkers’ and enjoy the hospitality of Westminster bars with their subsidised meals, drinks and fully expensed bills while debating how much to tax your pensions?

A year ago, Farage was polling at above 30%, the Tories were in free fall, Starmer had blown it, and Reform were outfundraising all the other parties.
But now he’s heading back down to his 15% UKIP levels in the polls.
He had the best opportunity since 1945 to break up the two-party duopoly but he failed to build out a credible shadow cabinet, took in failed Tory ministers, has been consistently lagging behind the mood of his base on key policy issues, and now it looks like he’s building a media company rather than a political party.
Farage has a long history of reentering politics at critical moments when it seems nationalism may be on the rise and then disappearing once the Tories are returned to power.
It’s hard to believe this level of amateurism and mismanagement is anything but deliberate. If you want to break out of Farage’s containment and into true nationalism, join us at Restore Britain.
