The Dodgers have literally thrown everything they had at the Brewers. Their trade-deadline prize pitcher, their $325 Million Ace, their $182 million 2x Cy Young, their several future hall of famers (including one that may go down as the greatest player in history), and the highest paid manager in baseball history…they have thrown everything at the little team from Wisconsin and the Brewers are still just one win away from then pennant.
The Brewers should be celebrated. Praised for finding a way to compete and succeed, instead this is the bullshit we have to face. This is why our manager plays the “underdog card”, because there is a section of baseball fans and pundits that will never allow us to just be better than the big market teams. We see it all the time with the Cubs fans, we saw it after we beat the Padres and we see it now that they are this close to ending the Dodgers dynasty with nothing but an aged captain, a crew of misfit toys, still developing prospects, and a “can-do” attitude.
This is why we #WinOurWay
