it seems like a lot of discourse on here just represents a divide between people who like their friends and are always willing to do them a favour and people who are constantly engaged in psychological warfare with everyone they meet

What kind of death row inmate are you looking for exactly? Someone who is there for stealing a lollipop? Across the board, DP offenses are incredibly heinous. Being against state murder means being against state murder regardless.
Not surprising that Acuña’s 73 were the most impressive SB season in the group. Slightly more eye-opening was Canseco’s 42 homers being statistically more difficult than Ohtani’s 54. They just weren’t hitting ‘em out in 1988 the way they do now.

Immediately blocking anyone who defends cell phone use in a movie theater as the movie plays. There is no defense, there is no rationality, just the selfish, whiny tantrums of adult children who don’t think they live in a society

You’ve gotta use AI because it’s the future. But also it’ll take your job. But also it’ll create a paradise on earth and solve most of our problems. But also it’ll end humanity soon. But also you’ll get left behind if you don’t use it right now.
Cool to see abject racism from one of our country’s journalistic pilllars.

A 20k seater for Temple football and @PhilaUnion could be pretty cool.
Replying to @CrossingBroad
Having a stadium on campus would do wonders for Temple. KC Keeler is turning that program around fast, just like he did at Delaware and Sam Houston State. Having a 20k seat stadium full is much better than a 1/4 filled Linc. There's NO college atmosphere at the Linc.
