In common with so many people around the world I have become disillusioned with the content of Twitter & it's owner, so I have unfollowed you all and deleted the app. Bye!

If you disagree with the Daily Express that “a majority of Brits” now support leaving the European Convention on Human Rights RT this as widely as you can

Today I can share I'm challenging the PM on the legality of abandoning key Net Zero commitments
I believe the timeline for the UK to meet Net Zero cannot be changed at will by the PM – I contend that he does not have the legal right
The ball is in your court , Prime Minister

Just been to see stage adaptation of #IDanielBlake.
Moving. Relevant. Essential.
Sums up so much that is broken with the UK.

We are shocked and desperately saddened to learn that the famous Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall has been felled overnight, in what appears to be an act of vandalism.
We know just how much this iconic tree is loved locally, nationally and by everyone who has visited.
We are working with our partners to understand what has happened and what can be done.
The incident has also been reported to the police.

northumberlandnationalpark.o… Northumberland National Park Authority can confirm that sadly, the famous tree at Sycamore Gap has come down over night. We have reason to believe it has been deliberately felled. Full statement via link below:

Extraordinary to hear Steve Barclay on @BBCr4today this morning, arguing that doctors cannot be offered a fair pay deal to make up for the huge depreciation in wages over previous decades - because teachers are paid so little.
We should pay teachers more too!
Why should these key workers in the public sector be penalised and exploited for not choosing to work in the private sector?
I hope that premeditated vandalism this type receives a custodial sentence and not just a fine.
The public humiliation of a visit to the stocks too.

If everyone who has been grateful for the NHS over the past 75 years followed and retweeted we’d reach a million by midnight
Please take just two seconds to show you’re right behind NHS staff
.@marykfoy I've responded to @DefraGovUK sandeel consultation to support a ban on industrial trawling for this important fish in English waters. Please lend your support and help save our globally threatened seabirds who rely on sandeels to survive. #SaveOurSeabirds
Another piece that characterises the 'young' Junior Drs strikes as just about pay. Junior Drs are all those below Consultant (many over 40) who are also fighting for better training, working conditions and opportunities - plus the future of the NHS.

Recall that the government has spent months saying it can't find any money to prevent nurses and teachers getting very big pay cuts. He just found £6 billion to cut fuel duties. That's a choice.

I’m furious that the Government has launched an #AttackOnNature. I care deeply about nature, so they don’t do this in my name. I’ve written urgently to my MP. Will you do the same? Follow this link to find out how. action.rspb.org.uk/page/1140…
