"Sell United and f*k off home" sing MUFC fans, the only good thing about the club right now. And it's right. The Glazers have made their money many times over for 21 years. Fans never wanted it and that takeover should never have been allowed. Do the right thing: sell up and go.

Motion to move All-Irelands back two weeks is withdrawn at Congress. It was heading for a hiding. Let that be the end of this nonsense. County players having time with their clubs is the very thing that makes the GAA unique. It has to be protected

The Clare GAA community is deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Noel Normoyle. A proud native of Kilmihil, Noel represented his club with distinction at all levels, winning Minor, U21 and Senior County Championships as well as a Cusack Cup. His commitment and talent also shone in the saffron and blue of Clare, where he was a valued member of the historic Munster Championship–winning panel of 1992. Ten years earlier, he also achieved the great honour of winning a Railway Cup medal with Munster. In later years, Noel shared his passion and knowledge of the game with his adopted club, Éire Óg, where he contributed in many coaching roles. His influence was central to their Senior Championship success in 2000 and their Minor Championship win in 2012, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. On behalf of Clare GAA, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to Noel’s family, friends, and all who mourn his passing. His contribution to both club and county will be long remembered with gratitude and respect. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

In acknowledgment of our former Camogie player, Olivia Tuohy who passed away in the UK on Sunday, and Éanna Rouine of Ennistymon, both taken far too soon. We offer our support and thoughts to their families and friends. May their gentle souls rest in peace 🙏🕯

The Clare GAA community is deeply shocked and profoundly saddened by the untimely passing of Ennistymon’s Éanna Rouine on Tuesday morning. Éanna was an extremely talented and promising young footballer with both club and county . He represented Clare at Minor level in 2021 , was part of the Clare U20 panel from 2022 to 2024 and was a star of the Ennistymon CBS football team when the school landed the famous achievement of a provincial double in 2023 . Éanna was a second year student at UL and had already won an All Ireland Freshers Football title with the college . While important achievements and now so important to cherish, these of course are only measures of him as an athlete and a player . Above anything else Éanna was a popular and beloved young man with his whole life ahead of him . His loss has left a void that words cannot fill, and his absence will be felt not only on the field but in the hearts of all who knew him in his community and circle of friends in North Clare . At this heartbreaking time, Clare GAA extends its deepest condolences and sympathies to his clubmates, his many friends, and above all, to his devastated and heartbroken family- parents Catríona and John and his siblings , Eoin , Dara and Bríd-Aine and the extended Rouine and O’Gorman families . We stand in solidarity with them in their grief, and we honour the memory of a young life taken far too soon. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

I understand there’s a lot of change happening at @manutd right now, and recent redundancies have likely disrupted several processes, but it's the fans who end up paying the price. Getting through on the phone to resolve issues is virtually impossible. 3 hours in some cases. I've heard—but not had it confirmed—that tomorrow night's tickets will still be QR codes rather than NFC rather than selecting people. Since the club initially announced a switch to NFC for this game in particular, fans have been left with questions about how it would work. If that's not happening yet, just say so—make it clear and simple. The club’s communication really needs to be called into question. Once again, @ManUtdMatchday and their WhatsApp channel failed to notify fans that final applications are open—and that they close at 8am tomorrow for eligible supporters. There will undoubtedly be someone relying on those channels who misses out because they weren’t informed. SO THIS IS A REMINDER, applications are open for the Europa League final in Bilbao and close at 8am tomorrow morning.
Applications are now open for supporters eligible for the Europa League final in Bilbao, should #MUFC qualify. tickets.manutd.com/ballots
