HOW TO - CRASH COURSE IN STOCKS FOR BEGINNERS WITH @naturalhairthreads on insta and @nhthreads on Twitter
1
For dividend investing or stocks for long time growth JNJ, UNP, KO, and HRL. These stocks have never cut their dividends, have consistently raised them and whose stock price keeps going up every year. These stocks are as consistent as the stock market gets. Even in a recession.

If anyone has been thinking about stocks during this time you could get a free stock using my link. I get one too if you do. You have to add your Bank to your account for both of us to get credit. I’m going to college and I’m trying to build my portfolio. I’d really appreciate it

Makes a small difference - Does it work ? Is really the question. My hair felt stronger after using it and I noticed more volume after a few uses but not length. I would recommend a vitamin, serum or oil for growth before I recommend rice water to someone with hair loss.

Last A Long Time - I brought a big bag of rice from target and I barley used it. I made 3 cups of rice water twice and I still have some left. After you take the rice out of the water the fermenting stops. So you can keep what’s left after you use it.

It Is Drying - It is a protein treatment so it is obviously going to be drying but I did not expect it to be that much. The starch has a lot to do with the stiffness that is produced. If you already have dry hair this is not the protein treatment for you.
It Stinks Like Hell - Rice water stinks and it is a smell I can’t describe it. You can add essential oil to it to make the smell bearable. I have not tried the essential oil so I don’t know if it will effect the effectiveness of the rice water but it is a solution.

HOW TO - THINGS I WISH I KNEW ABOUT RICE WATER BEFORE I TRIED IT WITH @naturalhairthreads on insta and @nhthreads on Twitter
Take aways 🧳 - Shrinkage is healthy. It has been given a negative connotation. If it is an insecurity for you remember your hair is beautiful and you have the options listed before. Don’t forget to follow on ig and Twitter for more quick natural hair content 🧡.

Blow dry first - I’ve seen this recently with a lot of youtubers . I have not personally because I do not care that much. You blow dry your hair first, then style. I think this is unnecessary heat but if your really pressed about shrinkage it is an option.
Do not add too much water- Some products do want us to have soaking wet hair when using them. But some of us grab the spray bottle even in the first section despite it still being wet. The point is just minimize the amount of water in your routine if you care about shrinkage.

Do smaller sections - Even though I enjoy a chunky twist out. I know the magic of smaller sections. Most of us have seen how twists look way longer the smaller the section is. I recommend doing semi circle parts instead of squares to minimize style time.
