“Women talk a lot about how scared of male violence they are, but from their behavior it's clear they never actually consider it a possibility” When I was eighteen I was out for the night with my bf and some friends, we were barhopping in Kings Cross. I was tipsy & occasionally lippy & obnoxious towards strangers (who were asking for it!). My bf quietly & discreetly at one point during the night said “babe, I love you, but fuck sometimes I worry that you’re writing cheques I won’t be able to cash, if it comes to and I’m on my own”. I was like “wtf are you talking about?” He literally had to explain to me that if I was being a fuckwit starting trouble, he’d obviously have to defend me if anything went down, and if I’m being a massive smart ass and it’s just like him & me & my best girlfriend, then he’s going to be in a fight on his own. All because I was being an antagonistic smart ass to some strangers who couldn’t take a joke. The idea that I needed to be able to back up my words with violence if it came to it, was something that had literally never occurred to me. Ever. It was a total revelation. Suddenly i realised talk wasn’t “cheap” in this context, it was expensive. The idea that I could effectively get him beaten up, or put him in real danger, by being a precocious little shit arguing with idiots because I could, was horrifying. From then on I was extremely reluctant to ever argue with strangers or act like a smart ass unnecessarily, because I was suddenly keenly aware that the guys we were with could potentially be expected to pay with their lives for any poorly received flippant comments we made. It really was totally novel to me. This isn’t how women see the world, at all.
Ideally, he wouldn't have reacted like this But any guy is aware that when you shove another man, getting lightly swatted (or more) is 100% on the table, so they won't do it unless they're being intentionally aggressive Women talk a lot about how scared of male violence they are, but from their behavior it's clear they never actually consider it a possibility We don't live in the 60s. You're shoving a steroid user on an athletic scholarship in the middle of a football game. You have to understand that this inherently comes with a degree of danger

The crazy part is that, according to the research, the second generation is far more radical than the first. Turns out, when you put the Third World in front of a leftist professor, you're lighting the match that will burn your civilization to the ground.

Just curious who LEAKED and NOTIFIED Omar about pending raid. My second question is why would allegedly decent law abiding citizen would flee their home at night like a thief. Ilhan Omar left her DC home at 4 AM on October 12, 30 minutes before the HSI agency began monitoring her house. The raid occurred two hours later. Since then, no one has seen her again; two sources from the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) said she was likely informed in advance and there could possibly be a chance that she may have had left the country. Thoughts: Someone involved had warned Omar in advance that there would be a nighttime raid, so she had time to flee the house in the middle of the night. Who is the insider?

Sitting in a coffee shop across from a corporate tech park, accidentally eavesdropping on the table next to me. Middle-aged guy with a company lanyard sitting across from a twenty-something manager who had a laptop open. Manager: “Due to organizational alignment and role redundancy, today will be your final day. We’ve automated the system handoff for 1:00 PM.” The older guy didn't blink: “Dave, I sat next to you for five years. I trained you on this codebase when you were an intern. You don’t have to read the script.” The manager froze, looked at the script on his screen, and didn't say a single word. Just stared at his keyboard while the HR rep on the speakerphone piped up: “Please do not interrupt the separation protocol.” The guy took off his lanyard, laid it on top of the manager’s keyboard, and said: “Never make a company your whole identity, Dave. They will have a stranger read you a script the second a spreadsheet tells them to.” He walked out. The manager just sat there staring at the lanyard for ten minutes. Loyalty to a corporation is an illusion. Build your own life.

They will lie straight to your face. I see the alligator sitting there! And you want to try to say you're not feeding it? And yes they are stupid idiots. It is illegal in the state of North Carolina to feed alligators! Feeding alligators is illegal in North Carolina, and for good reason: gators that associate humans with food lose their fear, grow bolder, and eventually get euthanized as a public danger. It’s a lose-lose — the animal pays with its life, and the neighborhood pays with its safety.

The riots in France have set an impossible trap. If the state enforces law and order, the Left will immediately scream "fascism," which would help them immensely in the upcoming election. If the state gives in and does nothing, the Left wins by letting the whole system fall to pieces. If you think that can't happen here, think again. France is just the test run. Conservatives in America are already branded as "fascists" the second they stand up for law and order. France is just showing us how far the Left is willing to go.

President Obama, you spoke about someone’s life being turned upside down by the full weight of the federal government. My wife, Bevelyn Williams, received 41 months in federal prison under Biden’s DOJ. Our daughter lost her mother’s presence at home. Emails later released by DOJ called that sentence an “incredible result” and “excellent news.” President Trump pardoned her and reunited our family. He did the right thing. Before you condemn him, address what your own political party did. Take the plank out of your own eye before pointing to the speck in someone else’s. Your statement hit home. I’m speaking from passion, firsthand experience with government weaponization, and victory. You describe Congresswoman Omar’s situation as political targeting by Trump. Reporting describes investigative activity under Biden. The magistrate judge who approved the search was selected by the district court, previously donated to Clinton and clerked for an Obama appointee. Those facts establish neither guilt nor motive. They belong in the whole story. So does my family. Bevelyn is a Black Christian mother and private citizen. The protest happened in June 2020. NYPD was present both days. She wasn’t arrested at the scene. James sued her civilly in February 2021. Biden’s DOJ obtained an indictment in December 2022, approximately two and a half years later and after Dobbs. Our family experienced retaliation after Dobbs. Her requested First Amendment jury instruction was denied. Our daughter lived with the consequences. Letitia James had plenty of fight for my wife. New Yorkers deserved that same fight from their attorney general. She had already pursued Bevelyn civilly. Then she publicly promised to come after her again. Meanwhile, federal inspectors documented failures in her office’s criminal enforcement against Medicaid fraud and patient abuse and neglect. Vulnerable patients. Nursing home residents. Taxpayers. Their interests were her responsibility too. She made pursuing my wife a public priority. Her own office’s failures became a matter of public record. I call that vindictive politics and failed leadership. President Obama, putting her in the victim’s chair does not erase the people her leadership failed. DOJ’s weaponization report documents coordination with outside advocacy groups, a dossier containing information about me and our infant daughter, and sentencing disparities in the cases compared. Congratulations were exchanged over my wife’s sentence. We faced separation. Since your party emphasizes identity, include this: Trump pardoned a Black woman and reunited a Black family. Biden’s DOJ obtained the sentence that separated us. My family does not hate Democrats. Disagreement does not have to become hatred. Many Democrats, Republicans and Independents reject socialism and communism and want secure borders and safe communities. What we agree upon can help heal this nation’s fractures. Selective outrage and incomplete stories are exhausting. Put the whole record before the American people. They can draw their own conclusions. Our family mattered before a pardon. Our pain deserves to matter even when our politics don’t match yours.
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

Minnesota got robbed so badly it had to kill an entire Medicaid program. Now the state wants to build a new one. It was called Housing Stabilization Services. The state guessed it would cost about $2.6 million a year. By 2024 it was paying out more than $104 million to over 700 providers. DOJ says the costs ran 4,000% over the estimate. That's not a typo. Two guys from Philadelphia allegedly heard it was easy money, signed up their companies, went back home, and billed $3.5 million from Philly. Prosecutors said the program was so easy to scam it attracted tourists. This month a Lake Elmo woman was convicted in a $3.6 million scheme. DOJ says she billed for "in-person" help from workers in the Philippines making $6 an hour, and for 20-hour days, every day, for weeks. So what does Minnesota's Department of Human Services do next? It slips a promise to replace the program into a draft plan, shops for a vendor, and aims for a bill in 2028. You don't reopen the vault before you've even counted what got stolen. Claw back every dime first. Then shut it down for good. minnesotareformer.com/minnes…

Yet another London failure. I am a member of a group who advises people about what to do and where to go in London. A young American woman in the group had an appalling experience at the weekend. She went to the theatre to see a musical. Her friends wanted to go out afterwards but she preferred to go back to the hotel. She could not get a black cab and did not want to risk a minicab. So she took a rickshaw. You know the type: lit up like Blackpool illuminations and blaring out music. She thought they were licensed. They are not: the mayor has been talking about that for years but it won’t be in place until 2027. Anyway, just her and one “not English” guy cycling. As they came closer to the hotel she said they ended up in a really quiet alley. He stopped and suggested taking her photo using her phone. She refused. She did not want to hand over her phone and did not feel safe. They had quite an argument about it. She said she would just pay and walk the rest of the way. Then two other men appeared. Now she really was scared and offered the £30 agreed fare cash. The driver (and the two men) insisted that she pay by credit card. They started to say that she had to pay double if she paid in cash. At that point, a couple turned the corner and instantly the two men vanished, the driver took the £30 and she was left alone. If that couple had not turned up I don’t know what would have happened. She had a photo from inside the rickshaw and is submitting it to the police today but it is not easy to identify the driver. This is not the first time I have heard of such a scam. One tourist was told the fare came to £200 because it was “a tour” and not a ride to the restaurant. Despite it being no such thing. London scammers in plain sight.

I went on @BBCNewsnight and enraged all the usual radical-left loons stating these simple facts: ~1.85m foreign nationals claim £23 billion in welfare each year in Britain ~ 1.3m foreign nationals claim £11.9billion of Universal Credit Britain must put the British people first **Britains tax burden is the highest it’s been since the War (1948 to be exact)** If you want to lift people up, you have to create wealth. You have to incentivise work. Which means tax them less. Anyone who runs a business knows this. Since then, far-left X has launched a series of ad-hominem attacks. Some even saying these ideas are “extreme far-right” None of them have addressed the substance of my arguments. Instead they are trying to shame me for being in one of the most successful bands of last 20 years, whilst ignoring that I have one of the biggest independent politics podcasts in Britain. And ignoring that I’ve generated 10s of £millions in wealth and taxes for the economy, created 1000s of jobs, and built several successful companies. Likewise they think that I might be anything but immensely proud to be associated with my own dad, one of the most successful businessmen and generous individuals this country has produced since the War, and his association with GB News, officially the most viewed and trusted news channel in the country. He’s a hero. Thanks to Newsnight for having me!

Overheard my 16-year-old giving a briefing to his 12-year-old sister before the bus arrived this morning: “If you hear loud pops, you do not sit in a corner under a coat rack like they tell you. You kick the screen out of room 104, sprint across the field, jump the creek, and wait for me behind the car wash. Do not text me. Just run.” She didn’t even flinch. She just nodded, took a Sharpie, wrote “104” on the inside of her wrist, and grabbed her lunchbox. No tears. No panic. Just two siblings coordinating an evacuation plan before 7:30 in the morning. Parents: What are you actually telling your kids to do? Because our kids have clearly decided the official drills are useless.

🇺🇸🇩🇪🇷🇺 Rubio is reviving the viral clip of German diplomats smirking at Trump’s Russia warning, and this time he’s the one laughing. “President Trump, in his first term, said that the Germans had left themselves vulnerable to Russian energy as a tool of blackmail in case of conflict. And they laughed. They mocked him. Our media mocked the president for saying that, and our media celebrated European leaders who laughed at the president. Well, guess what? That’s exactly what happened.” Back at the UN in 2018, the German delegation was caught smirking as Trump warned them. By the time Russia invaded Ukraine, Germany was getting more than half its gas from Moscow. Who’s laughing now? Writer: Julie xitter.cf/nowthisimpact/status/1…

The “immoral act” was apparently a kiss on the forehead. They were newlyweds who decided to spend their honeymoon in Mecca.
