i wanna stress this so bad, sometimes i click on a profile with suspicions and these are always the confirmations. really disappointing to see mutuals following such accounts. they post daily or hourly, easily drowning out the algo of humans who make art with love and integrity.

Add up how most post fully rendered works multiple times a day, are aggressive to monetize it, hides comments warning people and are quick to block. Real artists will take their time to do art and show u its real. AI users just want to scam you for a quick buck.

not every artist is capable of running a business and not all clients are rational either. artist green flags: public waitlists/schedules, taking payment when they are visibly starting your work, tos with reasonable and fair consumer rights, clear communication checkpoints

catching red flag clients is also a skill as a business owner. it’s nuanced and cannot be explained within twitters word count, but i’ve even seen too many expose threads of people that i’ve turned away. in the end, intuition is important for both parties!
