$EGLD is really blooming at the perfect time. As the halving passes & we gradually transition into a bull run, MultiversX has prepared their much further matured ecosystem just in time. Let's look at 3 of the biggest glow-up factors of MultiversX since last cycle! • From Elrond to MultiversX • Evolved Web3 Ecosystem • Real World Adoption Perhaps the biggest change has to be the rebrand from Elrond into MultiversX. For those of us around, we remember when MultiversX was Elrond & the vision wasn't quite what it was today. This rebrand happened in November 2022 during the first ever xDay in Paris. Name changing wasn't just for show either, MultiversX decided that their network was capable of so much more and decided it was best to expand and build into multiple aspects of the Web3 ecosystem. Hence the name "MultiversX". The rebrand isn't what makes it so impactful, but rather the expansion of the utility in the overall ecosystem. But aside from the rebrand, they've stuck true to the Web3 focus & it reflects in the growth of the ecosystem. We've seen rapid evolution of the ecosystem, especially over the past year. Perhaps one of the most obvious is the variety of "X" products they've created. Some prime examples include: xMoney: Payment solution on MultiversX xPortal: Ecosystem's all in one application xFabric: No code developer tools for dApps xExchange: Ecosystems go to DEX platform There are much more that fall into this category such as xLaunchpad, xSpotlight, xBridges. These all play into the whole "multiverse" concept that MultiversX envisions. Additionally the ecosystem itself has matured quite greatly with new applications. Paired with the integrations such as zKPs with Runtime Verification & a growing DeFi TVL. These upgrades has really expanded MultiversX far beyond what they were last cycle. The real world adoption & partnerships of MultiversX has arguably been one of the most exciting. We've since seen Web2 leaders partnering with $EGLD by names such as: • Google Cloud • Deutsche Telekom • Tencent Cloud • University of Sibiu These names entering the MultiversX ecosystem really bring that much more legitimacy and adoption to the network. Not only does it strengthen the ecosystem internally, but these are Web2 name that much of retail is already accustomed to. Seeing them back MultiversX is huge. Most notably we saw ICI D Services launch on MultiversX. This is an EU MiCA compliant platform for institutional digital assets platform built directly on MultiversX. This serves as the first European compliant institutional platform & hosts tokenized assets from various institutions within Romania and across Europe. The Romanian government has since publicly voiced their support for the platform. And as we can see both the Web2 & Web3 end of the MultiversX ecosystem has greatly expanded since the rebrand from Elrond. This isn't the same beast as last cycle.
