FEFER Community Statement — The CTO Begins The fefer:native community has been through a lot in a very short time. From the moment the OG FEFER launched on the STABLE blockchain, people came together around what became one of the chain’s earliest and most recognizable memecoins. The project exploded in its first days, attracting a huge amount of attention and bringing together holders from across the ecosystem. As the initial hype cooled down, something important happened: the community stayed. Holders continued supporting FEFER, building the community, sharing memes, discussing the project, and keeping the spirit of the OG FEFER alive. That community is what makes FEFER what it is today. Then everything changed. Without warning, the owner of the original FEFER X account introduced a new FEFER, reportedly in partnership with Coinsdotfun. This understandably caused confusion and panic throughout the community. Holders were suddenly left questioning which FEFER was the real one and what was happening to the project they had supported from the beginning. The community decided that we could not simply sit back and allow the future of FEFER to be determined by one individual. Therefore, the community is taking control. We have created a new Telegram as quickly as possible to give holders a place to regroup, communicate, and coordinate. The CTO will be organized and operated from the community, with decisions discussed openly between holders on Telegram and X. There is only one OG FEFER. Our position is clear: The original FEFER is the FEFER the community built and supported from the beginning. We consider the newly introduced FEFER to be a separate and unauthorized project, and the community strongly urges everyone to verify contract addresses independently and do their own research before buying or interacting with any token.
