Making it official. This is my new project I’ve been working on @boundrimaps where I’ll have a system to make customized products like below and much more. Please like and share if you’re interested or visit Boundri.com to get updates on the product.
Say what you want about boxelder bugs, but they stare out into the beyond to dream as well… #abugslife
Last combine pass of the year last night and my boy got to join along. It’s nice to be done with harvest, but memory’s like these are made to never go undone too.
I guess I just found my new farm water tender for spraying…
Somebody took an aircraft tug, the kind that pushes jumbo jets around, and made it street legal. Probably. These things sit low enough to slide under the nose of a plane and weigh anywhere from 70,000 to 120,000 pounds. The Air Force version was built to tow the C-5 Galaxy. Then somebody slapped a wood deck on top and painted it like it came out of Mad Max. Not exactly sure what you'd do with it buts its cool.
Lots of talk around red diesel fuel on highway vehicles for farms. I think it’s fine, but there should be a limit on much is used. How that’s tracked? No idea, but there’s a difference in a farm of say my size (800 ac) compared to a 10k acre farm. Tax revenue is still needed so…
F’ning falling numbers!!! That was on the more hailed stuff. Maybe the other stuff is better. Let’s hope
Just when things were going good, belts happen. 20 acres a day isn’t really cutting it. That’s what I get for an auction 9610 I guess. Getting the neighbors 9770 today for dad to run. I’ll run the old beast as possible. The kids finally got out so that’ll perk the spirits up!
Nothing like hail damage on ripe wheat. Compt out on 40% loss. Losing 10-20 bushels/ac isn’t fun, but what do you do… Atleast the new to me combine is holding together…barely.
This is why I’m glad I have 30 year old farm equipment. While it has some newer gps enhancements, it doesn’t rely on them. Of course parts are a thing too, but I bet I can find parts a lot easier for a 9610 than an X9 when the world falls apart… Same with my Flexicoil 5000, CIH 9270 and 854 Rogator. #100wheat #nodef #farminginthe90s
God I just love this forecast with my wheat still standing in the field. FML 🤦 I was running late anyway and so were others so I’m not alone. Earliest I could was Tues, but you know combine problems… Let’s hope it doesn’t sprout and falling numbers aren’t too bad…
This is what a lot of the Red River Valley looks like in ND and MN. Sure there’s some better spots and even worse, but ooofff! Probably can combine a lot the corn if there’s even a cob. That’s not October/November
Looks like a Stripcat with some modern touches. Patent off maybe? @NDStripTillCorn what do you think? You’d know
