Welcome Peyton Coleman to the NLB family. Next Level Baseball (NLB) is excited to welcome a new coach with a strong playing background, extensive knowledge of the game, and a passion for developing the next generation of baseball players. Originally from Collierville, Tennessee, he played at Collierville High School, where he helped lead his team to a state championship during his junior season. He continued his baseball career at Chattanooga State Community College, Southwest Tennessee Community College, and Christian Brothers University, gaining valuable experience at the collegiate level and developing a well-rounded understanding of the game. With experience at every position on the field, he brings a versatile skill set and a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals and strategies needed to succeed. Throughout his playing career, he had the opportunity to learn from outstanding coaches, including two who are Hall of Famers in their respective leagues. These experiences helped shape his approach to teaching the game and developing players. He currently serves as the Varsity Assistant Coach and Junior Varsity Head Coach at Florida High – Florida State University Schools (FSUS), where he has coached for three seasons. In these roles, he continues to help players improve their skills, develop their baseball IQ, and compete at a high level. As a new coach at NLB, he looks forward to sharing his playing and coaching experience while building relationships with players and families. His coaching philosophy emphasizes hard work, discipline, teamwork, and attention to detail, with a commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential. His goal is to develop not only better baseball players but also confident, well-rounded young men who understand the value of commitment, perseverance, and teamwork both on and off the field.

Weight Room Etiquette 1. The weights don't lift themselves. 2. Just being in the weight room doesn't get you stronger. 3. Walking in without a plan is useless. 4. Your workout partners matter. Working out with clowns is useless. 5. The equipment isn't to rest and bullshit with your friends. Do your reps and let someone else use the equipment. 6. If you use it, wipe it down. Nobody wants to be exposed to your sweat. 7. If you use free weights, put them back. 8. Leave your cell phone in the car. The gym isn't the place to be texting or talking. If you take a picture of someone without their permission, someone should punch you square in the mouth. 9. Nobody wants to hear your individual music. 10. You are only going to get out of it, what you put into it. Your body is your billboard. What does it say about you?
