The priority at this time is the health and safety of the community, all staff, athletes, volunteers, spectators, sponsors and stakeholders involved with the event.
We will look forward to being a part of the @BCSuperweek series in 2021. Take care everyone.
It is with regret that BC Superweek organizers have cancelled this year's series due to public health concerns linked to the coronavirus pandemic.
The #BCSuperweek series is planned to be staged next year from July 9 - 18, 2021.

BC Superweek members, which includes the New West Grand Prix, have made the difficult decision to put the professional cycling series on hiatus until 2023. While the City of #NewWest is disappointed that the NWGP won't proceed, we are excited to host a variety of events in 2022.

Quite the spectacle in New Westminster, as the city hosted the @newwestgp. It was a thrilling spectator experience with professional cyclists racing head-to-head. @DavidZuraCityTV was in the middle of the action: citynews1130.com/video/2019/… #BCSuperweek
