$1.74B valuation. Up to $100M from AbbVie alongside the IPO.
In a selective biotech market, ADARx is another signal worth watching.
Capital hasn’t left biotech. It’s getting more selective: differentiated science + serious unmet need + clinical progress.

The biotech public market window is clearly opening again.
Nearly $6 billion has been raised through biotech IPOs in 2026, with more than $1 billion raised in just one week in August. We are also seeing significant capital flowing into immunology and inflammation focused companies.
Having seen several biotech market cycles, I find this encouraging. Capital has not moved away from biotech. It has simply become more selective about the science, clinical differentiation and path to value.
For immunology, inflammation and rare diseases in particular, this is a very positive signal.
Good science is finding capital again. And that is worth celebrating.

Encouraging to see the FDA continuing to evolve its thinking about rare diseases while keeping scientific rigor and patient safety at the center.
This is not about lowering the bar. It is about building smarter paths to reach it.
With thousands of rare diseases still without an approved treatment, regulatory innovation matters as much as scientific innovation.
Great science discovers medicines. Thoughtful regulation helps them reach patients.

Biotech doesn’t have a discovery problem. It has a translation problem. The NIH’s new Bio Genesis Mission aims to cut in half the time it takes for scientific discoveries to reach patients.
The next biotech leaders won’t be defined only by better molecules. They’ll be defined by how seamlessly they integrate biology, AI, translational science, manufacturing, regulatory strategy and clinical execution into one innovation engine. The future belongs to those who can turn science into medicine, faster.

The latest Science publication makes me wonder: Are we entering an era where the biggest breakthroughs in CNS drug development will come not from targeting individual diseases, but from understanding and modulating the fundamental biology of brain aging? If so, it could reshape how we discover, develop, and evaluate therapies over the next decade.

$400 BILLION.
That's where Evaluate Pharma projects the orphan drug market by 2032. The next decade won't be won by chasing the biggest markets, but by solving the toughest diseases with the best science. Small populations. Massive innovation.

Biotech feels different this time.
The ingredients are lining up: capital is returning, AI is accelerating innovation, clinical wins are rebuilding confidence, and Big Pharma has started writing billion-dollar checks again.
This Endpoints chart tells the story. Just 7 acquirers completed multiple biopharma deals in H1, with Eli Lilly alone announcing 11 deals worth $25B+, followed by Gilead ($15B) and GSK ($13.8B).
Yet this may still be just the opening act. Big Pharma has substantial firepower left, patent cliffs remain a powerful catalyst, and the 🟣 Immunology & Inflammation deals are still only a small fraction of what could unfold over the coming years.
The next biotech cycle may be built one acquisition at a time.

The next major wave of biotech deals is emerging in Immuno-Inflammation & Rare Diseases.
The numbers tell the story:
💰 Sanofi–Blueprint: Up to $9.5B
💰 Biogen–Apellis: $5.6B
💰 Ipsen–Kartos: Up to $1.75B
As highlighted in the EY 2026 Firepower Report, Big Pharma is aggressively pursuing differentiated I&I and rare disease assets with strong biology and high unmet need.
At @VyomeInc, $HIND we’re building novel therapies for immuno-inflammatory and rare diseases, including indications with no approved treatments.
The smartest capital is following differentiated science.

Exciting @bradloncar
Heading to BIO 2026. Most breakthrough therapies start as a conversation long before they become a headline. Looking forward to exploring partnerships in immuno inflammatory diseases, discussing opportunities around our pipeline, and meeting the people building the next generation of biotech companies.
See you in San Diego.

Cancer care has been transformed by immunotherapy.
Yet patients with malignant fungating wounds still face one of the most devastating and overlooked burdens in oncology: malodor, pain, social isolation, and loss of dignity.
Listening to internationally renowned wound care leader Susi Pramod, a tissue viability matron, speak about this challenge reinforces why we at @VyomeInc $HIND advancing VT1953. Independent market analysts estimated total addressable market as $2.2B in the USA.
Not every unmet need is measured in survival curves.
Some are measured in dignity.

India makes the world’s medicines. It is time India owns them too.
India supplies over 80% of generic prescriptions in the US and UK, yet not a single blockbuster drug in the global top 100 carries Indian-origin IP.
India has mastered “Make.” It is time to master “Discover, Develop, and Own.”
China transformed itself from a manufacturing base into a biotech innovation powerhouse through bold policy, global capital, talent repatriation, and relentless execution. India can do the same.. but incremental change won’t get us there.
A dedicated Biotech Innovation Zone, global IND-focused incentives, faster approvals, stronger access to risk capital, and a powerful US–India Innovation Corridor could help create the next generation of globally competitive biotech companies originating from India.

Dr. Charles Tilley, PhD, RN, CWOCN — an experienced wound and palliative care specialist who has cared for malignant fungating wound patients firsthand… highlights with an independent perspectives on the severe burden of persistent malodor and pain, and the impact these symptoms can have on dignity and emotional well-being. He also highlights that there are currently no FDA-approved therapies specifically for treating these symptoms.
At @VyomeInc $HIND we are advancing VT-1953, our Phase 2 completed investigational candidate, into the next stage of development. Independent analysts have sized a potential US TAM of $2.2B

Biotech is reopening in 2026. But the playbook has changed.
Q1 tells the story:
$1.7–1.8B IPOs (best since 2021)
$10B+ follow-ons (~3x YoY)
~70%+ jump in total financings
Capital is back. But it’s not chasing stories.
It’s rewarding:
Clean cap tables
Tight cost discipline
Smart, fast clinical design
Real regulatory clarity
This is not the hype cycle.
It’s the execution cycle.
For public biotech:
Clarity drives valuation. Discipline sustains it.
The next winners won’t be the loudest.
They’ll be the most predictable.

Real breakthroughs don’t come from noise… they come from execution.
We shared Phase 2 data at prestigious AACR this week from our work at @VyomeInc $HIND
Malignant fungating wounds remain one of the toughest conditions in advanced cancer…impacting dignity, daily life, with no FDA-approved therapies. Large unmet need, multi-billion TAM.
And we’re building beyond that..
Stay focused. Execute well. One step at a time.

FDA’s approach to rare diseases with no approved treatments represents a distinct regulatory pathway that many may find worth understanding.
When unmet medical need is significant… the benefit-risk calculus shifts…
FILSPARI… $TVTX… IgA Nephropathy… no prior approved therapy… accelerated approval 2023… full approval 2024…
Being first in an indication with genuine unmet need in a rare disease creates a durable clinical and commercial position.
This dynamic appears to remain underappreciated in how rare disease assets are valued…

Biotech IPO window… opening well in 2026.
Eikon ~$381M, Generate ~$400M, Kailera ~$300M+… big raises…
Smart money is back… but only for data, discipline, and differentiation.
This cycle… not hype to spike, but price right to grow..
