Ifeanyi Ndukwe is looking like an absolute steal for Liverpool.
He’s only 18, stands at 6ft 6in, and is already bossing it in La Liga on loan at Levante.
His debut against Sevilla showed exactly what he's made of. He made an early mistake that led to a goal, but instead of hiding, he completely ran the game afterwards and popped up with a 100th minute equaliser to rescue a draw. That is elite mentality for a teenager.
Then against Athletic Club, he was a total brick wall:
• 15 defensive actions
• 13 clearances
• 93% pass completion
His manager Luis Castro and the Spanish press are already saying he has the potential to be one of the best defenders in the world.
The only reason he’s even out on loan is because of UK work permit issues after he signed from Austria Wien. Liverpool fans should be incredibly excited about this kid's future.

Such huge news for League of Ireland that Government have committed 33% increase in baseline funding for academies. An extra €1 million to be provided due to calibre of work being done. Massive boost, one that was not expected as part of this year’s plan. Testament to progress.

This appearance meant more than most 🥹❤️
Australian rugby league player Jai Arrow had retired after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease, just two games short of 100 appearances for his club, South Sydney Rabbitohs.
His club secured special approval for him to start their final two regular-season matches, coming off after the opening seconds. Even the opposition clubs backed it.
And this is the moment he reached his 100th.
When you’ve spent years sharing a dressing room with the lads, walking out alongside them becomes something you almost take for granted. I can only imagine what it meant to Jai to pull that shirt on and join them again.
So pleased he got to have this moment with his club and his family.
Class from everyone who made this happen 👏

🇮🇪 Does Katie Taylor Really Need To Be Ranked? 🥊
I woke up this morning to see the debate already raging about whether Katie Taylor is Ireland’s greatest ever sportsperson.
I’m not sure why it matters, and I doubt Katie Taylor cares much either.
Greatness across different sports and generations cannot be neatly arranged into a league table. What can be said with certainty is that Taylor leaves boxing as a pioneer, an icon and one of Ireland’s truly global sporting superstars.
Her story deserves to be remembered properly.
She began boxing when girls were barred from amateur competition in Ireland, sometimes fighting simply as “K Taylor”. She became Olympic champion when women’s boxing finally arrived at the Games, then built a professional career of 26 victories from 27 fights, winning world titles at lightweight and super lightweight.
Last night, she finished where an Irish sporting story of this magnitude deserved to finish.
Croke Park. 80,000 people. Undisputed champion.
Taylor comprehensively outclassed the previously unbeaten Flora Pili, then placed her gloves in the centre of the ring and arranged those championship belts around them. There was something wonderfully fitting about the simplicity of it.
“Croke Park! We did it.”
Yes, Katie, you did.
Perhaps her greatest achievement cannot be measured in belts, medals, victories or mythical arguments about Ireland’s greatest athlete. It can be found in every young girl who now regards boxing as somewhere she belongs.
Taylor helped build that road.
She walked away from it last night as champion, seemingly as grounded as when the journey began.
What a legacy. What an athlete. What an Irish sporting icon.
Safe to say the lift doesn’t go to the top floor for this person…
Replying to @DAZNBoxing

As a commentator you have to follow the pictures the audience is watching. The cameras move from tight to wide shot & you have to adjust accordingly. Can’t speak for others but it was a lesson taught to me by the best-in-business I’ve worked with, George Hamilton. That’s the job.
