Huge W for @sleepybaysalmon
Meet the Gall family, founders of Sleepy Bay Salmon. They fish Prince William Sound and the Copper River flats for King, Sockeye, and Coho, with family roots in the Chenega Tribe going back thousands of years. They deliver wild Alaskan salmon straight to customers around the world. Diesel is one of the biggest costs of the season and one of the hardest to predict. Right now, diesel prices in Alaska are at an all-time high. When fuel prices rise, profits shrink, and until now there hasn't been much a small operation could do about it. So Sleepy Bay Salmon is using Kalshi to hedge Alaska diesel prices. If diesel prices climb, their trade pays out and helps offset the higher cost of fueling the boat. If prices come in lower, they lose on the trade but pay less at the pump. Order direct: sleepybaysalmon.com/

how to do challenges: 1k → 10k initials out at 2x. always. you dont need to be a hero nigga. never topblast dumb shit. lock tf in 24/7 until your eyes bleed. at this stage you SHOULD be paranoid about roundtripping. 10k → 100k stop being scared to size. when you catch a real runner, ALWAYS leave a moonbag. you never know what stupid shit you’re gonna wake up to the next morning. 100k → 1m this is where shit gets stupid simple. wait for the obvious coin. slam 6 figs into it. bagwork. dont fumble. might take a few months, but this is probably the easiest part of the whole challenge.

BREAKING: A fintech employee just burned $80,000 in AI tokens in one week, building a meme game. Slash, a $1.4 billion fintech startup, had told employees to use AI coding more last week. Nicolas Brillante, the company's head of strategic verticals, took that seriously and spent a full day using Claude to build a playable shooter game called "Brainrot Shooter," featuring meme characters like Skibidi Toilet and Tung Tung Tung Sahur. His token spend hit $81,267 within that week. Brillante called it a genuine accident, saying he underestimated how fast AI usage adds up once you're loading a full codebase context repeatedly during active development. Slash posted about the incident on X, joking that employees should play the game so the company can write it off as a marketing expense. The company is now reviewing its AI coding policy. And After the media coverage, Nick's game appears to have actually found product market fit. In the first 48 hours, it pulled in 6,912 players, 8,986 hours played, a 1.3 hour average session per player, and 437 peak concurrent players, along with 3 inbound ad inquiries. Finance has reportedly moved the project from an expense incident to a strategic initiative. Slash isn't the only one learning this the hard way. Uber burned through a full year's AI budget in just 4 months earlier this year, before adding spending caps of its own.

crypto twitter, I come to you with some very bad news I just got off a conference call with the flow horse and "slightly overweight" Amy street, and the three of us came to the conclusion that the top is in! Yup, that’s right! From now on, it’s down only forever
