A new pattern, Russia's deliberate drone campaign targeting Ukrainian data centers:
Sept. 24, At least four Kyiv internet providers and their downstreams serving Ukraine experienced a partial loss of connectivity on Wednesday morning. Disruptions were linked to Russian drone attacks targeting data centers allegedly used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Sept. 26, Metrics showed a new disruption on the network of Cosmonova after a Russian drone attack on the company's data center in Kyiv. Russia's MoD claims the facility is linked to supplying Starlink communications to Ukraine's military.
Sept. 27, The campaign continued with an attack on Omega Telecom's facilities in Kyiv. Russia's MoD claims the company is involved in supplying networking and database storage to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Sept. 28, A new disruption was identified in the network of the DreamLine colocation provider, corresponding with reports and footage of struck premises emerging from Kyiv.
A sustained, deliberate Russian drone campaign against Ukrainian data infrastructure, with Moscow publicly justifying each strike by alleging military links.

There's been a notable drop in the number of videos coming out of Iran in the last 24 hours.
I've now heard from multiple sources inside Iran that the government has further tightened its imposed internet blackout by closing loopholes and targeting those with Starlink access.

Congo-Brazzaville🇨🇬 President Denis Sassou N’Guesso's government has imposed a nationwide internet blackout on the day of the presidential elections.
"Network data show a nation-scale disruption to internet connectivity in the Republic of #Congo", @netblocks reports.
His government has made it a habit to switch off network connectivity during presidential elections. A similar blackout was observed during the March 2021 election.
N’Guesso, 82, who is seeking re-election, has been in power for a total of 42 years.
He is the third longest ruling African leader, after Cameroon ’s Paul Biya and Equatorial Guinea ’s Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
In 2015, his government conducted a referendum that removed presidential age limits and term limits, allowing him to remain eligible for office.

The incident is among the most severe of its kind on record, exceeded in duration only during civil war in Myanmar and Sudan.
