A British writer penned the best description of Donald Trump I’ve ever read: “Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” A few things spring to mind. Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem. For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed. So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief. Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing – not once, ever. I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility – for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman. But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is – his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty. Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers. And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults – he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness. There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface. Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront. Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul. And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that. He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat. He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege. And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully. That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead. There are unspoken rules to this stuff – the Queensberry rules of basic decency – and he breaks them all. He punches downwards – which a gentleman should, would, could never do – and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless – and he kicks them when they are down. So the fact that a significant minority – perhaps a third – of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that: • Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are. • You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man. This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss. After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum. God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid. He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump. And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish: ‘My God… what… have… I… created?' If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set.” -Nate White

What scares me more than anything (almost) is the thought that De Santis somehow recovers from all his campaign woes, and ends up getting the nomination then beating Biden

HOLY Crap! The June Jobs report is a complete blowout: - Private sector jobs jumped by 497,000 - Analysts were expecting just 220,000 added jobs - Annual pay rose at a 6.4% rate in America People keep trying to attack Bidenomics, but the economy is incredibly strong and resilient. We are outshining most of the rest of the developed world. Inflation is dropping, jobs are rising and America is leading in innovation. This is a good thing, regardless of your politics. Can anyone honestly claim that this is a negative?

Take a moment today to listen to this no doubt banned story, about the true origin of the state where a failing presidential candidate claims woke goes to die, because history tells us it wasn't the only thing that died there. It was created by a virtual friend, @thematthewcooke who is a hero of mine, not only for having one of the best narration voices on the planet, but for his relentless dedication to the preservation of democracy, This short film is part of his 'American Origin Stories' which you can find on YouTube. Thank you Matthew for your dedication to 'real' American values. #DemsAct #DemVoice1 #wtpBLUE #ONEV1 #FAM46

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Obviously
BREAKING: A judge unseals bombshell emails sent by Donald Trump’s son Trump Jr. in which he launches racist attacks against Mexicans and Black New Yorkers. In an email to one one of his best friends, Trump Jr. wrote that his friend should “Encourage the Mexicans to come to the US and give them another excuse to not learn English. When I have to speak to my grandchildren in Spanish, at least I know I will have you to thank.” Trump Jr.‘s friend responded, saying that he was going to send his son down to the border with guns in order to “stop this wetback issue dead in its tracks.” In another email exchange, Trump Jr. attacked Black New Yorkers, declaring that upper Manhattan had so many Black residents now that it “looks like Harlem,” and that he “can hear the theme song of the Jeffersons playing in the background.” The friend was a groomsman at Trump Jr.’s wedding to his former wife — and the lawsuit involves him and his former employer. The friend is trying to keep more emails from being unsealed by the judge, telling the judge that they will cause Trump Jr. “reputational harm.” Please RT and ❤️ if you think that the judge should unseal ALL of Trump Jr.‘s racist emails — and consider investing in Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor that is currently doing a round of equity crowdfunding and just blew past $1 million raised from 2,650 of its users. If you want to own a small piece of what may be the “next big thing” in social media, here is the link to do so wefunder.com/Tribel, and here is the link to download the new Tribel app that Elon Musk is so afraid of: tribel.app.link/okwPIHYCIqb

Clarence Thomas’s Ex-Girlfriend Speaks Lillian McEwen came to know Clarence Thomas quite intimately back in the day. While Clarence has elected not to write or speak publicly of Lily, Lily has often chosen to be forthcoming about her relationship with Clarence — having much to say over the years. Lily recalls, following the breakup of his first marriage, Clarence did not particularly like himself. Lily said she was never judgmental, but she provides candid, disturbing descriptions of Clarence: He was a selfish, sloppy drunk, who would come to her apartment and drink all the liquor. He was slovenly, and dressed like a bum. He was addicted to porn. Clarence was a rather angry, vengeful man. Oozing hatred for Blacks who disagreed with him, Clarence Thomas regularly recited a racist chant under his breath — a chant featuring the “n” word. Early 1980s: According to numerous women, as he slogged away at an EEOC job he loathed, Clarence Thomas was consistently aggressive and inappropriate with women. Targeting and stalking women in the workplace. Preying upon his female subordinates. Women hid from him. Women quit their jobs to escape him. The Metamorphosis It is Lily’s remembrance that Clarence Thomas possessed and effectuated the ability to transform and mask himself in order to succeed. Thomas devoted the late ‘80s to molding himself into his vision of the the ideal Black conservative — striving to win attention and success in elite political circles, especially the Reagan and Bush administrations. “I’m their guy,” Clarence would chime, radiating with pride. White conservatives were in awe of Clarence Thomas, and he was beyond thrilled by the glowing adoration and acceptance. Clarence Thomas’s strenuous efforts to be a model Black conservative did pay off in his professional life, but not with the more liberal Lily. Instant Chemistry In 1986, Clarence met Ginni Lamp — ultra-conservative and white. Even though he had long been strongly opposed to interracial romance, there was something about his connection with Ginni that changed his mind. Clarence soon became Ginni’s guy. Marriage ensued in 1987, and the evolution of Clarence Thomas continued — further right. By 1989, Clarence felt like he was truly President George H. W. Bush’s guy — set for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court. Black Solidarity In 1991, the GOP’s ideal Black conservative was indeed nominated. Incredibly, simply because of Thomas’s race, there was broad support in the Black community for Clarence Thomas when he was first nominated for the Supreme Court to replace Justice Thurgood Marshall. Ultimately, however, upon close examination and consideration of Thomas, America’s most prominent Black leaders resolutely rejected him. Additionally, abortion rights groups criticized and campaigned against him. Still, Clarence Thomas appeared to be on his way to an easy confirmation, until the hint of a dramatic bombshell suddenly surfaced. Details below in Slow Burn:

BREAKING: Yesterday it was revealed that the documents that reportedly allege that Biden was involved in corruption, came from Rudy Giuliani. Today GOP Senator Chuck Grassley tells Fox News: "We are not interested in whether the allegations against Vice President Biden are accurate or not. We're responsible for making sure the FBI does its job, and that's what we want to know." There you have it folks, this is almost certainly a political stunt that was sparked by Rudy Giuliani. And if the GOP is really interested in the 'FBI doing its job' then they should know that part of the FBI's job is to not publicly release 1023 forms which came from CONFIDENTIAL SOURCES. Not to mention, that there are thousands of uncorroborated claims sitting in FBI files. Should we just release them all publicly and allow for the possible defamation of thousands of people? Should Democrats be able to use all uncorroborated reports about Republicans that are sitting in the FBI's vaults in, a way to spread possible false narratives?

BREAKING: A video still of the shooters gun in the Texas mall shooting appears to be an AR-15-style rifle. The SAME gun more than 30 law enforcement officers were AFRAID to confront in Uvalde that left 19 children dead. The SAME gun that’s been the weapon of choice in many of the most horrific mass shootings in recent memory, including the Covenant school shooting in Nashville just two weeks ago. The SAME gun brandished by Republican radicals like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert. The SAME gun worn as a pin on the lapels of disgusting GOP lawmakers. This is what we need to scream everywhere: If 30 armed officers wearing full tactical gear with ballistic shields are too afraid to confront a single gunman with an AR-15, they SHOULD NOT be in the hands of civilians. We have the answer. It’s the guns. BAN ASSAULT RIFLES NOW.
