I do get annoyed by people immediately 'praising' cc apologies when actual change hasn't been seen yet but I can't blame anyone for being glad that degendering is actually being taken seriously for once, it's not an unreasonable reaction when you're a trans person yourself

also I don't mean praise as in saying "this is a good apology" I mean acting as if all harm is now undone by one written apology and putting it on an unneeded pedestal as the 'golden standard', we can just leave it as what it is - a proper statement

Hey guys, just wanted to apologise for any cases of accidental misuse of pronouns like they/them where not appropriate! I have a habit of using them to refer to people whose pronouns I don't know and sometimes it bleeds over into people I do know which is completely my bad.

don't let this fool you into thinking this only happens in one community or only cis people do it, I've been on the receiving end of being misgendered plenty of times because random transmasc #5346 somehow thinks they/them are inherently '''neutral/universal''' pronouns

sometimes on here you'll also see binary trans women talking about how they always get misgendered by other trans people who think this way and it's truly awful to see them be stripped of their identity in the name of fake progressiveness

At least he was okay with dying by spidey's hands, it was all he could've asked for, and he was so /tired/. Also frankly I was half expecting him to jump off the roof in the moment though, so Spidey wouldn't have to kill him herself... oh well rip to a real one anyway
