The UK's Goldilocks railway is back: too hot today, too cold not long ago, and previously too wet. Somewhere between all three lies the mythical condition known as 'normal service'.
I'm 100% sure that Charles Dickens had a better railway experience that we have today. Almost every train from Waterloo cancelled or delayed by 2 hours because of the hot weather ๐คฏ. In Japan they get fined if their trains are 5 second late. Here... Nobody actually cares.
