Jesse Eisenberg discussed the chaotic process of working with Kieran Culkin while making 'A Real Pain' at a #BFILondonFilmFestival Screen Talk on Sunday: "We didn’t know if Kieran was ever gonna show up to Poland... [He will] sign on to your thing, but then he decides he likes potatoes instead."
Culkin is "worth the risk because he’s so great," but Eisenberg said producer Emma Stone had to chaperone Culkin on the plane to Poland. "She sent me a video of him going through customs saying, ‘We are here.’ And then he was still late."

Please read this deeply upsetting comic.
I Don't Sleep Well (Title)

ALT I Don't Sleep Well. The title is rendered in biological looking script. The action takes place in the cross section of an apartment, where the characters are in front of a large window with the angle such that we are looking down on to the street. Insect arms reach out to a woman, whose silhouette is replicated behind her. The moon shines down.

you hear stories about how people win the lottery and it ruins their life, destroys their relationships, and ends up leaving them destitute. i want it known that would not happen to me. if i won the lottery id be very happy. it would easily work out well for me.

Executives at OpenAI, Anthropic and other AI companies are reportedly preparing for a public and political backlash after a catastrophic AI event, possibly as early as 2027 (via Axios).
Axios reports that many industry insiders expect a major incident within the next 6–12 months, most likely a cyberattack disrupting banking, internet access, power or water.
OpenAI confirms it runs preparedness exercises, but says: "These scenarios are not treated as inevitable, but are meant to help us prepare for a variety of circumstances."
Anthropic declined to comment.
