reading my appealshipping fic is a great way to support lesbians
im not coming empty handed this pride month 🌈
celebrate with me reading my short but beautiful (if i may say so myself) #appealshipping fic
archiveofourown.org/works/47…
💙🧡
why do some fic writers who write problematic stuff act like they're doing the world an intellectual favor lol "thought exercise" about romanticizing harmful situations like ok
people write something taboo and then act surprised when people find it weird/disgusting/etc like..... it's taboo for a reason did you expect people to take it like a children's bedtime story

Oh my fucking god you people are insane. Fandom is supposed to be a fun hobby, not a full time job, so why are you treating it as one? Are you going to demand people start meeting quarterly fandom targets?
im trying 😭
there’s a powerful leo stellium in the sky (moon, jupiter, mars, + south node), which means the house you have LEO in your chart is getting some serious character development rn. expansion is TRYING to come to this area of life, but you have to ACTUALLY follow your inner fire and get out of your comfort zone for it to arrive. (believe me, after these retrogrades are over in mid-november, things are going to speed up dramatically). prepare now to stop playing small. dream bigger. have courage. make space for the growth that is to come.

this is not only wrong bc most women aren't taught makeup by friends and family but they're also talking about makeup as something inherent to the experience of being a woman instead of something imposed by patriarchal beauty standards this is such a shallow view of womanhood

Cis women have had their whole childhoods to learn make up and get better at it, they've been watching make up videos for years, they have friends and family helping them out and teaching them things. Trans women gotta start from square 1 and it's harder for us to experiment

i understand where people with this pov come from but it harms sex workers all the same, it adds to the stigma it leads to isolation and exploitation feeds on that, it's a pov that still frames sex workers as either victims or perpretators and that's not constructive nor helpful

Yall need to be mindful about how you discuss sex work especially if you don’t know what you’re fucking talking about bc all you’re doing is opening the door for all sorts of hateful anti SW rhetoric to be tweeted and retweeted all over this platform.

to frame all sex work as rape simply sidelines sex workers from advocating for themselves whenever they DO experience sexual violence! can we all act like we have some sense?!
when you start doing something at 100% energy but now you're halfway through and your energy is at 1%...

the conflation of the "dangers" of sex work (which is due to a lack of labour rights, btw!!!!) with sex trafficking just displays to me that like, no one has a working analysis of labour under patriarchy?
