⚡ PROOF OF WORK ≠ PROOF OF WAITING. Who said decentralized security had to be slow? Bitcoin pioneered trustless digital money. 🟠 Kaspa is pushing Proof of Work into a new era. 🟢 ⛏️ BITCOIN ~10 minutes per block Traditional linear blockchain Battle-tested Proof of Work 🚀 KASPA 10 blocks per second Parallel BlockDAG architecture Proof of Work Programmable L1 Same fundamental principles. A radically different architecture. Kaspa isn't trying to abandon Bitcoin's philosophy. It's proving that Proof of Work can evolve. Why sacrifice speed when you can innovate without abandoning decentralization? 🔥 DON'T REPLACE PROOF OF WORK. REINVENT WHAT IT CAN DO. KASPA — THE FUTURE DOESN'T WAIT. ⚡ $KAS #Kaspa #Bitcoin #ProofOfWork #BlockDAG

Pope Leo XIV: A Prayer of Gratitude and Hope Yesterday, I kept Pope Leo XIV, the head of the Catholic Church and Sovereign of Vatican City, in my earnest prayers as he underwent surgery. I am grateful for the encouraging reports of his successful surgery and recovery. I thank God for seeing the Holy Father through this procedure and pray for his complete recovery, renewed strength and good health. May God continue to guide his medical team, sustain him in this period of recovery and grant him the grace to return fully to his pastoral duties. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Kaspa’s latest technical progress is increasingly about making programmable proof-of-work infrastructure cheaper to operate, easier to build on, and harder to disrupt. On October 14, Rusty Kaspa merged a new “lowio” RocksDB preset for pruned nodes. It combines larger write buffers, ZSTD compression, BlobDB storage for larger values, and partitioned indexes. The tradeoff is additional RAM for reduced disk activity. The contributor reports roughly 50% fewer bytes written and approximately 10% faster initial synchronization under the tested configuration. These are hardware-dependent measurements, and the change is merged into master rather than included in the latest stable release. That stable release, v2.1.0, introduces P2P protocol 11. Large synchronization payloads are streamed in 20 MiB chunks, reducing message-framing bottlenecks while retaining compatibility with protocol 10. Tighter message limits and bounded parent counts also constrain malicious peer inputs. For application developers, the standalone kaspa-txscript-zk-sdk packages RISC Zero Groth16 and STARK proof-script generation, including static and dynamic image identifiers. This makes proof-verification tooling more reusable. Post-Toccata cleanup also removes transitional activation branches and standardizes script-unit accounting across relevant validation paths. Meanwhile, an October mempool proposal illustrates the engineering scrutiny behind these changes. Transactions accepted during synchronization can remain in a node’s pending pool and distort fee estimates. Reviewers challenged full-pool revalidation because repeatedly triggering it could create excessive work; discussion shifted toward reporting synchronized blocks directly to mempool processing. That fix remains under review. My reading: Kaspa’s current development is strengthening the operational foundations that programmable applications will depend on.

🚨 Kaspa has one of the highest Holders/Market Cap ratios! you heard it right. $KAS has a higher holders/MC ratio than: $SOL 0.145 $ETH 0.068 $BTC 0.012 why does it matter? it showcases that the kaspa community is the strongest there is.

Gradually, more people will get to understand why the thieving political class of Nigeria don’t want Peter Obi at the helm of affairs.
In 2007, Daily Sun reported that Anambra State Governor Peter Obi had blocked pension payments to former governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju, who had left office in 2003 with more than ₦1 billion in unpaid pensions. Unnamed sources told the newspaper that Mbadinuju had left behind 16 months of unpaid pensions and once described protesting pensioners as “dead woods.” Obi reportedly said he found it difficult to approve Mbadinuju’s pension while the state was still struggling to clear the backlog of unpaid pensions he had inherited. Daily Sun reported, “Obi said that he could not approve Mbadinuju's pension in good conscience as ₦1.7 billion duly paid to the state by the Federal Government was missing and was still being investigated.” The governor’s spokesperson, Valentine Obienyem, did not confirm the report. However, when asked for his thoughts, he said, “It will become a good lesson to those that govern states that sooner or later, our actions and omissions will haunt us.”

Had a really interesting conversation with Kaspa core developer @michaelsuttonil about the Kaspa Privacy Initiative today. We discussed our candidate architecture for a scalable shielded native KAS protocol, using covenants, ZK proofs, permissionless relayers and batchers. One of the biggest takeaways was how much of the infrastructure we're looking for may already be available through Kaspa's Based Apps and KIP-21. In our original design, one of the challenges was ensuring that batchers couldn't selectively omit user operations while claiming to have processed a complete batch. With Based Apps, user operations can be ordered directly on Kaspa L1 in an application-specific lane. KIP-21 provides cryptographic sequencing commitments, allowing a properly designed settlement proof to demonstrate that the relevant operations were processed correctly. That could remove a substantial amount of custom infrastructure we'd otherwise have to build ourselves. We also discussed canonical bridges, recursive proving and why sharding may introduce unnecessary complexity at this stage. Our next step is a small Based App feasibility PoC on TN10. We'll test lane ordering, execution, proof-based settlement, deliberate transaction omission and independent reconstruction before adding the actual shielded privacy logic. No architecture has been finalized. The goal remains to find the safest, most scalable and most decentralized solution, not to defend an earlier design. Really appreciate Michael taking the time to share his insights. Conversations like these are incredibly valuable. Technical feedback, criticism and contributions are very welcome! github.com/olafweller/kaspa-…

This is why I buy and hold Kaspa In 1971, gold was $35 oz and gas was $0.35 gallon. $35 bought you 100 gallons of gas in 1971. Today, gold is ~$4,194 oz and gas is ~$4.36 gallon. That same $35 now buys you about 8 gallons. But the same ounce of gold from 1971 now buys roughly 960+ gallons of gas. Fiat dollars have been systematically debased. Hard assets have preserved (and increased) real buying power. This is why I buy and hold Kaspa — a scarce, proof-of-work digital hard asset built for the long term, not for the next monetary experiment. #Kaspa #KAS #SoundMoney #Gold #FiatDebasement #HardAssets #Bitcoin #ProofOfWork #StoreOfValue #Crypto

$KAS is a threat to the whole crypto and payments industry. And as much as this sounds like a "wow" factor, it is actually the weakest point because that's the main reason it is being surpressed and ignored by exchanges, big creators, maxis, payment processors. we need liquidity

$KAS fam, you should be a bit more active. It is nice that you repost, but sometimes you should make posts yourself. You can reuse images from other Kaspians, add a description or your own opinion. That way you get more engagement, views, followers, and visibility. Get big 🙌💚

Yonatan Sompolinsky: Kaspa is Real-Time Bitcoin. Scalability is the headline. It is not the point. The point is security that arrives in seconds, not after an hour of waiting for the chain to average out. Bitcoin samples the honest majority slowly. A block is one vote. Confidence is a pile of votes. That is why a real settlement still means about an hour, and why a censored transaction can sit for 30 or 40 minutes if most miners are filtering it. Fine for a stash. Not fine for collateral, payments, or a market under stress. Kaspa’s claim is different. Sample the honest majority in real time. Each round is decentralized, instead of chain quality showing up only as a coarse aggregate of rounds. Proof of work is what makes the sample honest. You write the block, then the lottery picks it. In leader-based proof of stake the selected nodes already know they won, and only then choose what goes in the block. Select, then write. That is not the same sample. That difference shows up in confirmation, censorship resistance, oracle finality, and MEV. Finance needs a dense stream of honest votes, not a fast chain that still waits on a few block producers. Block rate is the sample size. At 10 blocks per second the latency gain is mostly used up, and a 37% attacker can still fake the majority signal about 12% of the time. At 100 blocks per second that probability falls to about 0.3%. Kaspa cannot push past 10 today without hurting confirmation. That is the job DAGKnight is for. Real-time decentralization also means the network does not need a long quiet period to know which side of a split is honest. Partial synchrony. The chain keeps sampling while the network is partitioned. Speed is the trailer. Real-time security is the product. #Kaspa #KAS #BlockDAG #ProofOfWork #DAGKnight #RealTimeBitcoin

Friendly reminder $20 $KAS is still a sub $1T market cap network... With greater adoption, it's not THAT aggressive of a mid-long term target The major risks I see are related to the network surviving its infancy If #Kaspa continues shipping and attracting talent to the network, there's a reasonable chance to achieve $20 $KAS

That’s a fair argument for stronger verification — not an argument against privacy. Orchard failed because of an under-constrained proof circuit, not because private money is inherently unverifiable. The lesson is that privacy systems need stronger audits, formal verification and supply-accounting safeguards. Zcash itself responded with Ironwood: shielded privacy, while restoring independently verifiable supply integrity. Transparent state makes auditing simpler. Privacy makes cryptographic assurance harder. But “harder to verify” ≠ “cannot be verified.” Don’t trust. Verify — including the cryptography.

I feel sorry for people who will buy $KAS at $1+, not because they will be late, but because they will get much less coins then if they bought now. Think about that: if they buy $1000, at $0.04 they get 25,000 coins. At $1, they get 1000 coins. Now think on a bigger scale.

Kaspa carries everything of value. Finance is evolving again for the first time in 300 years. From money to real-world assets, from records of trust to programmable covenants, Kaspa can handle it at scale — fast, secure, decentralized, and always on. SilverScript will become a standard framework, and developers will build the next era of finance on Kaspa. Real value moves forward. #Kaspa #KAS #SilverScript #Tokenization #Crypto #Blockchain #DeFi #RWAs

For those new to the #Kaspa community👇 Some forks have appeared on the market before: -Pyrin -Karlsen -Sedra They all claimed the same thing: a bug-free $KAS. Where are they now? Rest assured, #Zkas won't be any different.

argent now has a first implementation of covenant genesis proofs: github.com/argent-lang/argen… idk how to emphasize this enough, but i expect *every stateful covenant* deployed on kaspa to eventually provide such a proof. the goal is a verifiable link from a covenant id back to the source code, deployment parameters, and genesis state that produced it. we should strive for an ecosystem where explorers expose this proof data for every covenant id they discover onchain, assuming its deployers want public trust. think of it as the analogue of contract verification on etherscan, extended to stateful covenants: you should be able to inspect what a covenant is, audit the code behind it, and verify how it was instantiated. kudos to @supertypo_kas for being an early-bird example of such a proper deployment process: github.com/supertypo/dotk-in… (not sure if the sil contracts themselves are public yet)
