Christians, never worry when someone claims there's no evidence for God or no good reason to believe in God. That's an exceptionally foolish thing for anyone to say. There are plenty of arguments and evidences for God: - teleological argument - fine tuning of the universe - ontological argument - Kalam cosmological argument + argument for personal cause - legal-historical evidence for the ministry and resurrection of Jesus Christ - moral argument - human consciousness - near-death and out-of-body experiences - personal experiences - archaeological evidence for many claims in the Bible - fulfilled prophecies of the Bible and probably more I'm neglecting to mention here. As an atheist, I became convinced by just one of these arguments that God exists (the teleological argument). The sum total of these compelled me to keep investigating, and ultimately to accept Jesus Christ as my Savior. One of the great strengths of Christianity is the sheer weight of evidence and explanatory power it has, which is unmatched by any other worldview. When someone says there's no evidence for God, they're either revealing their own ignorance or they're saying they're not convinced by (or don't want to believe) the evidence that does exist. If you are ever feeling doubtful, don't retreat or hide and hope it will go away, but remember what Paul said: test all things, hold fast to what is good. There are a tons of good apologetics and scholarly resources for Christians, including works by C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, William Lane Craig, John Lennox, Norm Geisler, Alvin Plantinga, Rob Koons, Bishop Barron, Michael Heiser, Greg Koukl, Ed Feser, Gary Habermas, Tim Keller, R.C. Sproul, Hugh Ross, Josh McDowell, and many more. There are also many ancient, medieval, and early modern apologists. Feel free to list your favorite resources below. I find J. Warner Wallace's books really helpful in terms of "testing." They provide a rational, methodical approach to evidence and arguments for Christianity. In particular: Cold-Case Christianity God's Crime Scene Forensic Faith Person of Interest The last one is really fascinating and one of my favorite apologetics books of all time. It makes an historical case for Christianity by examining the proposition that if God really did come into the world as a human being, you would expect that person to be the most significant person in history - which is exactly what Jesus is.

When I found out I was having a kid I was 22, addicted to drugs, in and out of rehab with no place to live. Everyone said we should get an abortion. I’m really glad I didn’t listen.
