First paragraph is as follows: “Consider the game 15, in which players take turns to select distinct numbers from the numbers 1, 2, ..., 9. Once one player takes a number, it is no longer available to the other player. Whichever player can make 15 as the sum of three distinct numbers is the winner.” He then proceeds to explain how the game is, in fact, isomorphic to tic-tac-toe.

ALT An angry man accosts another man walking minding his own business. The angry man says "fight me, loser." The other man holds up a pokéball. The angry man says "a pokéball? what are you? some sort of asshole?" The other man, with a spiritual calmness, puts the pokeball up to the bridge of his nose and says "bees... I choose you!" He lobs the pokéball at the angry man and dozens of bees emerge and start stinging the angry man, much to his horror.
