Meta has been demoting and demonetizing content from Russian state-controlled media since war broke out in Ukraine, leading those outlets to seek out other platforms like Telegram. trib.al/kiSvFz6

Under @IpsoNews, @TheSun can publish vile, violently misogynistic attacks on #MeghanMarkle and there is no real means of redress. These are the consequences of an unregulated press. Shame on @IpsoNews , and the Government which is propping them up.

That Jeremy Clarkson can write things like that, and publish them unashamed, tells us all we need to know about the way Rupert Murdoch has poisoned and rotted our public life.

I look forward to a week where ministerial resignation tweets occupy less real estate in my feed. I suspect w/c October 17th won’t be that week.
In recent weeks, I have watched as the Government has undermined Britain’s economic credibility & fractured our Party irreparably. Enough is enough. I have written to the Prime Minister to ask her to stand down as she no longer holds the confidence of this country.
Feels like whichever side of the political spectrum you’re on, the one thing the last ten years have shown is giving party memberships the final say on leaders is a terrible, terrible idea
