As a rule, I will no longer be a paid subscriber to publications that consider journalists disposable. So @MiamiHerald, I’ve cancelled my digital subscription. I thought for a long time you were the one paper in Florida worth paying for…but no more. 😥
Not a great game 1 for the @MiamiDolphins, but a few good moments from young players like Taaffee, Douglas, and Rodriguez give me optimism for the future. A team this talent deprived can’t commit dumb penalties and bad turnovers and they did both. Willis needs better protection.
Keep posts like this going until the end of November @NHC_Atlantic !
2 pm EDT Fri, Sep 11: The Atlantic remains quiet, and tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days.
As of 8 am EDT this morning (Sep. 11), we officially passed the satellite-era (1966-present) record for the latest formation of the first hurricane during an Atlantic hurricane season, held by Hurricanes Gustav (2002) and Humberto (2013).
It's important to remember that about half of a normal season's activity happens after today. In fact, there has never been a season during the satellite era without the formation of at least 2 hurricanes. Late-starting years can still produce hurricane impacts—so stay prepared! Continue to visit hurricanes.gov for the latest forecast.
Good morning @Marlins. Hadn’t been to a game in a bit, attended yesterday and helped break the losing streak. You are welcome! #FightingFish #Marlins
What an awesome experience! And a great first half! #WorldCup in my hometown @HardRockStadium! #england #norway
Getting whiplash from @MiamiDolphins! Sign a QB in an effort to compete this season, sure....then trade away the best WR you have (and the only proven one on the roster). Not sure the thought process here, other than stacking up draft picks! Hope Sullivan knows what he's doing
Probably best for everyone! Next year is going to be rough but hopefully brighter days are coming!! #FinsUP
Ignore the haters @NHL, last night’s #WinterClassic was a blast! Weather was PERFECT and the atmosphere was a true party. Only negative was the @FlaPanthers performance on ice, but even that is NBD compared to this amazing showcase event. Kudos all around!!
My 11 month old is ready for his first flight. Hopefully @Delta can fix this maintenance issue and get us in the air! #FirstFlight @flyPBI
Finally! This was needed for a LONG time! McDaniel likely gone too by end of season but let the next GM make that decision! #FinsUp
Fire Grier, Fire McDaniel, bench Tua, go scorched earth Steve! It’s time to blow this thing up! @MiamiDolphins #FinsDown
One down (Napier), one to go (McDaniel)! Come on @MiamiDolphins, make it two coach firings in 24 hours! And while you are at it, fire Chris Grier too!!
