This morning, Commissioner Dawn and I shared a message honoring the lives lost 25 years ago today and reflecting on the spirit of service that followed 9/11. May we carry that spirit forward by serving our neighbors today. We will never forget.

It’s been an honor and we are grateful for the experience. We have passed the baton on to the newest Salvation Army solider — our grandson.
At our first 2025 National Advisory Board meeting, we honored Commissioners Kenneth & Jolene Hodder as they retire from their roles as national leaders of The Salvation Army USA. We are grateful for their unwavering service and leadership, which has touched countless lives.
