Quick one: 1. When you are told to take medication three times a day (some tell you morning, afternoon, evening), it actually means you should take it every 8 hours. Example: 6 am, 2 pm, and 10 pm. 2. When you're to take it two times a day, it means every 12 hours. Say: 6 am and 6 pm or 7 am and 7 pm, or 8 am and 8 pm. 3. If it's for four times a day, it means every 6 hours. Example: 6 am, 12 pm, 6 pm, and 12 am. 4. When it's to be taken once daily, it's advisable to pick a specific time, like either 8 am or 7 pm, depending on your schedule. 5. This helps maintain the drug concentration in the body and also helps with adherence. 6. However, there are a few exceptions to these rules, there are times that some adjustments are made which is why you should always consult your pharmacist. 7. Ensure you understand every piece of information given to you before leaving the hospital/pharmacy. 8. Repost. Share with others.

BREAKING: LETTER FROM ISRAELI HOSTAGE TO HAMAS “To the generals who have accompanied me in recent weeks, it seems we will part ways tomorrow, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your extraordinary humanity shown towards my daughter, Emilia. You were like parents to her, inviting her into your rooms whenever she desired. She acknowledges feeling like all of you are her friends, not just friends, but truly beloved and good. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the many hours you spent as caregivers. Thank you for being patient with her and showering her with sweets, fruits, and everything available even when it was not. Children should not be in captivity, but thanks to you and other kind people we met along the way, my daughter felt like a queen in Gaza... In general, she acknowledges feeling like the center of the world. She hasn't met anyone on our long journey, from the rank and file to the leadership, who didn't treat her with gentleness, affection, and love. I will forever be a prisoner of gratitude because she did not leave here with a lifelong psychological trauma. I will remember your kind behavior, granted here despite the difficult situation you were dealing with yourselves and the severe losses you suffered here in Gaza. I wish in this world we could truly be good friends. I wish you all health and well-being... Health and love to you and your families' children. Many thanks. Danyal and Emilia"

Only a colonized African mind will seek validation through the culture of others. Chinese use chopsticks. Italians eat Pizza with their hands. Mexicans eat Tacos with their hands. But the African wearing someone else's hair wants to eat 3ba with Fork & Knife. Identity 0%

I am actually surprised this policy has to be explained severely for us to get. I think this is a really good idea. Techies already work 24 hours. Promoting it is a good idea.
Dr Bawumia has been sharing his views on JM’s “24-hour economy” policy proposal. Many things he has said so far, however, disclose a limited appreciation of the 24-hour economy concept as it is known throughout the world. Let’s take this statement, for instance: He says that: “if you feel you’ll make money opening [your business] 24 hours, there’s no law preventing you from opening.” By this, he means that the policy is needless because no law prevents a 24-hour economic activity. The fundamental flaw in his statement is that the he misses the distinction between (a) ‘not preventing’ a thing from happening, and (b) ‘promoting’ a thing to happen. Let me illustrate this with the “send the girl child to school” policy of the 1990s. At the time we started the “send the girl child to school” campaign, there were no laws in Ghana which ‘prevented’ a girl child from going to school. So, according to the outgoing Vice President’s logic, the campaign was needless. Yet we found it prudent, even then, to ‘promote’ girl child education. But that’s because we knew, even then, that if you want something so badly, you don’t leave it to just happen - you make it happen. You promote it. And, we ‘promoted’ girl child education because we knew, even then, that ‘not preventing’ it wasn’t enough. We promoted education in the northern parts of the country from the 1950s when there were no laws which prevented education in the north. Well, as a teacher, I know that a wrong answer is an opportunity to educate. So, this is exactly where further education on the 24-hour economy policy is needed: 24-hour economy is not about the law ‘not preventing’ people from working 24 hours. It is not even wholly about legality. 24-hour economy is about PROMOTING the culture of pursuing economic activity around the clock - 24/7. It is about giving INCENTIVES to manufacturers, for instance, to find it more profitable to operate beyond the traditional 8 to 5 schedule. It is about making people FEEL safe and secure to be out there in the factories, on the roads, in markets and, indeed, out of the home and out of the beds beyond the traditional 8 to 5 schedule. And all this requires thinking beyond bare legalities.

Reporter Wael Dahdouh’s wife and children were killed in an Israeli airstrike. Speaking about their deaths, he said, "we will not say except that which is pleasing to our Lord." These are words the Prophet ﷺ expressed when his son, Ibrahim passed away: "Indeed the eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, but we will not say except that which is pleasing to our Lord. We are grieved by your separation oh Ibrahim." (Bukhari)
