A majority Labour Government tanked our country between 20-23. IMO A majority National government with its current leader and team would have further tanked it, if not for Seymour and Peters. Time for National to give up the party votes and endorse a vote split.

“This election is going to be down to the wire and that’s just the reality of MMP” - Luxon at the National rally. Untrue. It’s the reality of being such an unlikeable leader.

Unsolicited list of things that annoy me for no good reason… 1. People who send voice notes. 2. Cafe staff when they ask what size long black I want. 3. Real estate agents. 4. People who send me Facebook reels. 5. The saying “there’s no such thing as a bad idea.

Right: “The left hangs out with gangs!” Left: “The right is racist and hangs out with Pedophiles” Average kiwis trying to pay their bills and figure out a least worse Chris:

There’s a significant difference between being photographed with a gang member at a public event and attending a gang event to campaign. Just saying.

I met Kerrin Leoni at an event I spoke at. She praised my work and said she’d visit our offices. I explained I was from PILLAR, not Pillars, which works with incarcerated and gang-related families. She couldn’t get away fast enough. Should’ve said I was gang-affiliated.

I’m sick and tired of the left campaigning for the mongrel mobs vote. What about the Black Power!? The Comancheros!? The Bloods and Crips!? What’s a gang got to do to get a visit these days? 😪 #Diversity

The High Court has just made a ruling to overturn the government’s decision to ban the use of puberty blocker chemicals in children - the judge declared the regulations unlawful and invalid and set them aside. We will demand that this decision be immediately appealed by the Minister of Health. Our country needs to come to our senses and base these critical health decisions on evidence. Not on process. Puberty blockers are banned indefinitely in the UK and the Nordic countries for anyone under 18. This ruling makes New Zealand sit in stark contrast to that. NZFirst was the only party who campaigned on the banning of puberty blockers in kids and the only party who fought hard to ensure the government brought this ban in. We will continue that fight to ensure commonsense and normality wins.

Winston Peters on Fixing the Economy & Putting New Zealand First | 056 Is New Zealand putting its own interests first? Winston Peters joins the PILLAR Podcast for a wide-ranging conversation on the 2026 election, rebuilding New Zealand's economy, national sovereignty, and the future of NZ First. From tax cuts, welfare reform, and the cost of living to China, immigration, banking profits, and the UN's role, Peters lays out his vision for New Zealand and challenges the country's direction. A stronger economy. A sovereign nation. What's the plan?

As both Nats and Lab face the reality that they are increasingly unpopular and will be at the whim of minor party partners a grand coalition looks more and more likely.
🚩This is insane ! MSM is now pleading for a Nats/Lab GRAND COALITION. They know the Right can win easily with an overhang the concept that was kicked off by Rawiri and Dennis. The Herald and the post have both released op-eds this morning scaring voters off the overhang and an open plea to Luxon & Hipkins to make a deal that of either side wins by an overhang they have another election - until the left get the result they want … with nutbag Henry Cooke pleading for a GRAND COALITION with Labour & National: 🔴Henry Cooked - The Post : (the most insane) {There are 4 more days before overseas voting starts on Wednesday, and a whole week before advance voting begins. This means there is still time for Christopher Luxon and Chris Hipkins to get in a room together and strike a far more important bipartisan deal than their half-hearted handshake on the debate stage on Wednesday. They could rule out ever governing thanks to an undemocratic overhang. Luxon and Hipkins could promise that if either of them ends up coming to power via an overhang, the first thing that they would do would be not to call an election, but to team up and pass a law that makes such a situation impossible to repeat. It wouldn’t even require a super-majority in the House or a referendum. You could even have a short-lived grand-coalition government whose sole goal was passing this law, then run the election again.} 🔴Thomas Coughlan: The Ferald: {There’s nothing against the rules about trying to trigger an overhang, but it does go against the spirit of MMP. The rort is similar to the gerrymandering you see in elections to the US where one party deliberately redraws the electoral map into ridiculous shapes to maximise the number of seats they win by ensuring each district includes a winnable majority of that party’s voters. Candidates and staff have privately told the Herald that questions about strategic voting is the most common on the doorstep. Rather hilariously, there is quite a bit of confusion about how to do it. Voters know they’re being asked to do something, but they haven’t got a clue how to actually do it. Labour has a lot to lose too. National’s broad geographic spread gives it an advantage when it comes to winning electorate seats (in the MMP elections it’s twice won as many or more electorates than Labour in elections that Labour has gone on to win). If the right got comfortable running overhang campaigns, the right could trigger even larger overhangs than the left could achieve with the Māori electorates. Worse still, if Te Pāti Māori is successful in its overhang campaign, that would likely fuel calls for the Māori electorates’ abolition (NZ First wants a referendum on getting rid of them). Whichever side wins this election, particularly if an overhang pushes it over the line, will be tempted to bank the win and not change anything. They should resist the temptation. Winning an election thanks to an overhang will only add incentive to your opponent to try the same tactic. It’ll be tempting for either side to blame the other for starting it. But National and Labour, the mum and dad of New Zealand politics, should, like all good parents, care less about who started a squabble and more about finishing it.} Centre right voters you must : Electorate vote National Party vote NZF or Act If the left get in make no mistake that extreme Govt will make Ardernistan a fond and distant memory.

Things I don’t see happening this election despite the parties thinking they will. 1. TOP at 5%. 2. National increasing their party vote. 3. Winston going with Labour. 4. Luxon working with TOP Side note: if Hipkins makes it past March next year I’ll be shocked.

In the last two leader debates, Luxon has shouted out Keir Starmer and now Barack Obama. Clueless.

Hipkins says he led the economy through really tough times, had unemployment at an all-time low and would have had us back in surplus by now. Delusional.
