People always ask me how the heated rivalry fandom got so horrible so fast and I’m like… we have the gaylors, the larries, the worst of the kpop stans, millennial women who haven’t been in fandoms since the 2010s and still think invading people’s privacy is okay, people who can’t read/have never engaged in a single real conversation about books, and everyone thinks actor fandoms should operate like musician fandoms when they’re completely different.
