@JetBlue today one of your staff literally told me my dad "doesn't speak English" and quickly changed his seat at boarding because he didn't hear the exit row prompt clearly and we'd been speaking Spanish. He's been speaking English fluently longer than I've been alive.

The only reason we'd travelled during Covid was for my abuela's funeral. We tried to celebrate our family and heritage in her memory. It greatly soured an already difficult trip to then be discriminated for that same heritage. Please train your staff to not make dumb assumptions.

Layoffs suck, and I'm really sad to not be able to work with @rachelkaser anymore. Hire her! She is super talented, has contacts in all facets of tech, and can write eloquent long-form features as well as she can pump out the breaking news.
