This is separate from my personal portfolio, and I’ll be topping it consistently.
Every week, I’ll show you what I bought, how much I added, the portfolio value, my gains or losses, and what I’m learning along the way.

U.S. STOCKS ARE ABOUT TO GET A LOT MORE ACCESSIBLE FOR GHANAIANS 🇺🇸🇬🇭
From December 6, 2026, U.S. exchanges are planning to move toward almost 23 hours of trading, 5 days a week.
And if you’re in Ghana, here’s what that actually looks like in GMT:
• 2:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. → Overnight session
• 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. → Pre-market
• 2:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. → Regular market
• 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. → After-hours
• 2:00 a.m. – 3:00 a.m. → Daily market break
So theoretically, U.S. stocks could be available from 2:00 a.m. Monday until 1:00 a.m. Saturday Ghana time, with that one-hour break each day.
The normal U.S. session we already know isn’t changing: 2:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. GMT.
The interesting part for Ghanaian investors is the overnight window. You could potentially react to major moves without waiting until the afternoon.
But there’s a catch.
Overnight trading can have lower liquidity, wider spreads and more volatility. And your broker still has to support those hours before you can actually trade them.
So don’t just see “23-hour trading” and assume your app will suddenly let you trade all night. 😂
Also, this is not 24/7 trading. Weekends are still off the table for now.
For those of us in Ghana investing internationally, though, the timezone just got a lot less annoying.

The real financial upgrade isn’t going from a GHS15,000 phone to a GHS25,000 phone.
It’s getting to the point where a GHS 4,000 emergency doesn’t completely destroy your month.
Then getting to the point where you can invest money every month without thinking twice.
Quiet progress is still progress.
