I’ve been a citizen of three countries.
Sri Lanka gave me life.
Canada gave me a safety net.
USA gave me the chance to compete vs everyone else at an even starting line.
I have deep gratitude for both Sri Lanka and Canada. That said, America is the absolute greatest country in the world.
While there is a lot that America can improve upon, maybe today would be a good day to remember all it gets right.
But if you’re not sure, travel abroad (or talk to someone who has) and internalize how the grass is not greener…
Meanwhile, Happy 4th!! Go kick some more ass America, we love you!! 🇺🇸

A disturbing crime wave hit San Francisco this week.
Tech leader Bob Lee was stabbed to death, cyclist Ethan Boyes was killed by a speeding car, and former fire commissioner Don Carmignani was brutally beaten by homeless addicts.
If this isn't a wake-up call, what will be? – at San Francisco, CA

Biden must make it clear to Netanyahu that more time is completely unacceptable as more children die. We must demand an immediate ceasefire now. This is something I believe has broad support in the Congress that wants to see an end to the violence.

The way Republicans booted Cheney out with a lot of boos and without a secret vote reminded me of the way purges were conducted in the Soviet Union. Yeltsin was ousted in exactly the same way, along with numerous Stalin opponents.
