The most underreported story of the year.
🚨 BREAKING: Boyle: "We just confirmed with the Congressional Budget Office that among the 13.7 million Americans who will lose healthcare under the bill, not a single one is an undocumented immigrant."

My name is not the reason we're paying $5/gallon for gas. My name is not the reason you can't afford your groceries. My name is not the reason you can't afford your mortgage or rent. My name is not the reason you can't see a doctor. Their policies are the reason.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy just said: 'We will continue to bomb Russian data centers.' Republicans responded by accusing him of interfering in the US midterms. Why would bombing Russian data centers hurt Republicans in our elections?

New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control. In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale. Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…

In the past 24 hours... 1. We found out that data centers are bot farms 2. Bot farms play a direct role in changing public opinion and changing elections 3. Billionaires desperately support and want data centers I think it's safe to say that billionaires are the catalyst for the far-right rise we've seen globally...

This is a wake-up call. Our social media is being manipulated by foreign agents with the express intention of sowing hatred, mistrust, and misinformation among Americans. Russia is behind a lot of it, using programs designed to disrupt our country and turn us against each other. We should be cynical about what we see on social media, and not fall for the rage bait. This is also a national security issue and if the social media companies dont take immediate action, they are complicit. It's time for real regulation that requires them to find and shut down foreign bot networks, and holds them accountable when they don't.
Ukraine hits another Yandex data center in Russia and Cloudflare data shows Russian bot traffic dropping dramatically. Might have an impact right before the November elections.

We’ve been talking about this for years. None of these far-right movements are organic.
If confirmed, this is telling: Russian data centres get hit, and online activity around AfD suddenly plummets. 📉 So much talk about German patriotism… then the connection from Russia goes down. 🤔🇷🇺

When @POTUS's son-in-law and business confidant are his emissaries to the Kremlin, and they're discussing business deals with Putin, how in the world can we separate Trump's personal dealings from his decision to put his finger on Russia's side of the scale in Ukraine?

BREAKING: Republicans in the Pennsylvania Senate just once again refused to bring a bill raising the minimum wage to $15/hour up for a vote. Pennsylvania's minimum wage has been stuck at $7.25 since 2009. That's 17 years! The House has stepped up and done their part, time and time again. Senate Democrats are trying to force a vote — but the Republican majority refuses. It's long past time for them to act.
