We just made open source the key parts of the Liveblocks server stack (lblcks.io/nys2qqB) — the sync engine and a dev server that enables you to run it anywhere for dev and test: bare metal, Docker, GitHub CI, K8s, what have you.

On a personal level, getting to lead us deeper into an open source development model was a big part of why I wanted to join. This is just the kind of neat, open CRDT sync implementation I always wanted to have for my own apps.

A British fascist party getting its Twitter account back within hours of Elon Musk acquiring the thing is the level of naïveté that makes me want to make Mastodon work for me. It doesn’t feel like a replacement, but maybe there are well covered specific topics? Science project…
