What got you hooked to web3?
Maybe it was financial gain, but ultimately one might just like the technology. ⛓️
Good tech, the driving force of web3 thus far. 👨💻
Anyone with curiosity for new tech or finance naturally gets pulled in once they experience the potential of blockchain technology.
But can this narrative alone drive mass adoption? The answer is no.
We love to compare web3 adoption to the early days of the Internet. But remember, the mass adoption of the Internet didn’t happen because people fell in love with TCP/IP protocols or HTML. It happened because of the applications: email, social media, streaming—all the fun, practical experiences that improved people’s lives. 👨💻💻
The same will be true for web3. ✨
Blockchain has become mainstream enough that most tech enthusiasts have already explored it. We’ve likely saturated this segment of early adopters. 🌐
The next wave won’t come because of better consensus algorithms or scaling solutions. ⚖️
It will come when we start building fun and engaging applications that people actually want to use.
