It’s very rare for us solo app builders to have any VCs on our side. We are often overlooked because we’re building in “saturated markets” or because we’re not researchers from MIT. That said, there are always exceptions. @mitchellsniffle from @MetaDAOProject is THE exception. I’ve never met an investor that rooted for the scrappy, bet-against founder like Mitchell. What he’s building at MetaDao is genuinely awesome and provides founders with a) instant liquidity and b) investors that can supercharge their growth. He’s currently looking for scrappy founders like you to invest $100-$300k in. Message me for a warm intro or message him yourself. This is not a paid advertisement, just a true appreciation post for an awesome platform

Just wrote a thesis about @fffactoryhq to share with friends, but why gatekeep it in dms right 😉 Here is a TLDR on why I am turbo bullish on The Factory (Colosseum Hackathon winners): The Factory has basically built a self-sustaining volatility harvesting machine. It owns liquidity pools for its tokens against SOL, HYPE, USDC and soon ZEC, tokenized stocks and other assets. It already has ~$615k of liquidity at only a ~$1.75m market cap, which is an unusually deep liquidity-to-market-cap ratio for an asset this small. The main token, PROFIT (soon to be renamed MOTION), is paired across these different assets. This is important because the Factory isn't relying purely on outside volatility. The combination of external price movements, the protocol's flipping taxes and price spreads between its own pools creates even more opportunities for arbitrage. Whenever those assets move against each other, prices across Factory pools fall out of sync. The Factory's own arbitrage bot captures that difference and sends the profit back into the ecosystem through: → Deeper liquidity → Buybacks + burns Here's the crazy part: There can be ZERO trading of the Factory ecosystem tokens and the system can still create value. HYPE moves against SOL? Factory profits. ZEC moves? Factory profits. Stocks move against crypto? Factory profits. The outside market creates the volatility. The Factory harvests it. The markets will NEVER run out of volatility, I'd even argue that volatility in global markets is growing. It's basically the opposite economic dependency of a Ponzi. A Ponzi requires a continuous stream of new participants and eventually collapses when they stop arriving. The Factory's Perpetual Motion mechanism doesn't require new participants to generate arbitrage opportunities. External markets moving is enough. So the flywheel becomes: Markets move → Factory arbs → profit → deeper liquidity / burns → larger pools → greater capacity to capture future volatility → repeat. And it's still early V2. More pools, more assets, and more convenient routing options are coming. So TLDR: The Factory creates it's own value forever, which makes it an interesting asset to buy. The arbitrage revenue flows back into the protocol through both deflating the supply and increasing the liquidity, while the trading revenue flows to carnage (more deflation) and staking rewards. AKA a token designed to go up in price over time, while you get paid to hold it. Dataroom (chart etc): fraudsworth.fyi/profit

Extremely proud of how this has been rolled out so far. From now, even if no one ever buys or sells the $PROFIT token ever again, the supply will continue to deflate and the liquidity will continue to get deeper. Perpetual. Motherfucking. Motion.
It's taken some tinkering.. but Perpetual Motion has been achieved! V2 of The Factory has begun to roll out. TLDR: - We are now multi-pool. New pools quoted against HYPE and USDC are live, with more coming soon. - Internal arbitrage is running. The protocol now arbitrages its own pools and accrues the profits back into the pools. Read on for more info!

5,000+ builders have now joined Crypto World's Fair. Our fund is aiming to invest in the top 10-20 founders. Some will already have traction, others will be in the early process of turning their side project into a full-time startup. All will have that dawg in them.

allow me the slop image, but this is roughly what I'm thinking of trying with @framesag frames gives me access to basically all the x402/mpp tools out there through one API endpoint - think openrouter, but for tools. I already use it every day through MCP in codex and claude. it's great when I'm in the loop: I ask for something, it finds the right tool, gets the data, done. but I want the system to keep thinking when I'm not there. for the last few months I've been building a lot of crons + llms (aka agents). they work, but they're still pretty top-down: wake up, gather context, run a model, maybe do something, sleep. Jev made me realize judgment itself can get cheap enough to run everywhere. classify lots of small things, continuously. but judgment alone isn't enough. what's missing is the connectivity between those judgments something reactive. one new fact can change one interpretation, which changes another, and the system naturally works its way through the consequences. that's the part I'm trying to explore now: 1. Frames for access to tools/data. 2. Jev for cheap judgment. 3. Jev Hooks for propagation. a system that keeps reinterpreting itself as the world changes. Jev came, and will probably go as competition gets more intense, but cheap models like this will be the norm I think. so I'm just learning and trying public and willing to change my mind.
what if software could propagate meaning the way React propagates state? one change at the top can reshape everything below it. with Jev Hooks I'm trying to make the same thing happen with interpretations. a fact changes, something interprets it, and everything that depends on that interpretation can reconsider its own state.

Around a year ago we were starting Cloak as a hackathon project, a long the way we've tested, failed, changed and so on... It's crazy to see something born from a simple idea to what today is fully working protocol. Thank you my friends and team @mgf_sol @vict0rcarvalh0o @Matheuz_Macedo !

We continue to call @colosseum competitions “hackathons” for a reason. While we’re ultimately looking to fund startups, the very best companies rarely start as one. They often begin as a side project someone can’t stop working on, an idea that seems too small or too weird to be a business, until it creates a market nobody saw coming. Rebranding what we do as a “startup competition” risks attracting people chasing metas or larping as startup founders. Even though Colosseum is structurally different from a traditional hackathon, we've found "Hackathon” attracts builders chasing what genuinely interests them. And I believe that’s where the outliers come from.
